ON THE WINGS OF THE MORNING is the sequel to Marie
Bostwick's debut novel, FIELDS OF GOLD, and that's were this
historical drama picks up telling the story of Morgan
Glennon. The novel begins with a passionate prologue by
Morgan Glennon's regarding the secretive nature of family
histories and his spiritual connection to passion to fly.
The broadness of this book starts in the 1920s and ends in
the mid-1970s. WINGS rotates structural between two
characters, Morgan Glennon and Georgia Carter, but more
importantly chronicles the fated path between the two.
This
book is an uplifting and spirit-nurturing read. I most loved
the fact that Georgia Carter is a strong natured woman and
a WWII pilot that successfully overcomes the obstacles
placed in her path. Most of all, love isn't quick nor is it
often easy, and this book will soar into hearts of that
believe. Marie Bostwick is a strong woman herself, building
a solid future in the historical romance genre.
In ON WINGS OF THE MORNING, the highly anticipated sequel to
FIELDS OF GOLD, Morgan Glennon unwittingly follows in the
footsteps of his famous aviator father. Forced to confront
the realities of war and the secrets of his past, Morgan
fights to break the stranglehold of the enemy in the Pacific
and to win the heart of Georgia Carter, a beautiful young
pilot whose intelligence, bravery and passion for flight
equal his own.
