Bernie Bridges is good at being bad. In fact, Bernie is
GREAT at it. Not a day goes by at Rotten School that
Bernie doesn't break a rule (or two . . . or ten!). What
Bernie is NOT good at is being good -- and that's exactly
what Bernie needs to do!
April-May June, the
hottest girl in the fourth grade, will go to the dance
with Bernie if he can be good for one whole week. Can
Bernie do it?
Can Bernie actually study and ace the
history test? Can he find the library and read there --
quietly? Can he pass up a pool game against his archenemy,
Sherman Oaks? And most of all, can he turn down the
challenge to race his champion slug, Sluggo, in the
biggest slug race of all time? Is April-May June worth
missing a super slime time?
