Re: Never Broken (4:07pm September 7, 2015):

I don't need to be added into the drawing as I've read
the book and LOVED it!

I went to the website and looked for the meaning to my
name, but they don't have it. A bit too unusual, I guess.
Thanks for sharing about names, Kathleen, very
interesting!

Re: A Horse for Kate (6:15pm April 13, 2015):

I LOVE all the awesome comments from you gals and guys
who read to your kids, or still do! Way to go!!! I
completely agree that early reading enjoyment (reading to
them and then kids reading on their own) will increase
their knowledge and often help them become better
students. Thanks for sharing, everyone!!

Re: A Horse for Kate (12:56pm April 12, 2015):

Thank you all for your comments. The one thing I'd
suggest for anyone with kids who aren't reading is for
you to read to them a lot--especially if they're younger
than 12 and willing to sit still and listen. I read to
the kids when we were on trips in the car and my husband
was driving--I had a captive audience and it made the
time go so much faster. Take their cell phones and
tablets away for an hour or so and read instead. They
might be surprised and really enjoy it!

It's so nice to hear that several of you love to read and
are encouraging the children in your life to follow in your
footsteps. Keep up the good work!

Re: Wishing On Buttercups (9:09pm January 26, 2014):

Jane, I'm so sorry to hear what you're going through right
now. Maybe you can find fellowship with a small group of
ladies so you won't feel totally alone, but I understand your
hurt. You're right, God still loves you and hasn't abandoned
you, no matter what man might say. Warm hugs and prayers.

Re: Poison Town (4:21pm January 25, 2014):

I really enjoyed Fear Has a Name and would LOVE to win this
newest book. Thanks for the opportunity!

Re: Wishing On Buttercups (2:47pm January 25, 2014):

I so appreciate everyone's comments and wish I could answer
each of you individually. For those of you who have read my
books and enjoy them, thank you so much for sharing that!
For those who are struggling with something in your life,
know that God cares, is listening when we pray, and that I
will lift you up to Him. I so appreciate the interest in my
books, especially from those who have never tried one
before. I truly believe you won't be disappointed if you
take the risk and try one! Blessings and warm hugs to you
all.
