Eric Silver is a Law Enforcement Park Ranger and a wolf shifter. He loves his job but sometimes it leads him to unexpected dangers. Shifters growing pot in the national park is one of them and the intriguing she-wolf pack leader he encounters during the investigation is very startling. Not that she is a woman leader but what a woman. He gets the idea that an ALPHA WOLF NEED NOT APPLY when it comes to her – her status and her people.
Pepper Greystock has more than enough to deal with when it comes to alpha wolves. Though Eric is very hot – she just isn’t looking for a mate. She isn’t going to let some male – just because he is an alpha male take over her pack. She already has one alpha wolf who is determined that she isn’t strong enough to run a pack properly and only he can do the job. She soon realizes that there is more than meets the eye with what is going on in her territory and she is going to need Eric’s help to get to the bottom of the troubles. Soon he is the only one she can trust as things turn in her own territory.
ALPHA WOLF NEED NOT APPLY is author Terry Spear at her very best. Her stories dealing with wolf shifters are always filled with intrigue and dangers with twists and turns. But always there is a sweet romance, add in the family ties and innate honor among her main wolves and you have an amazing read. The bad guys are always characters that she makes sure readers just will not like and won’t be able to wait to see them get their just desserts.
Pepper is understandably wary of alpha males. The story of her first mate explains a lot but I will let readers get to know Pepper on their own. Eric too did not have a happy first mating so he is also wary of giving his heart. Luckily for both of them and romance fans, they figure out how to let their hearts get involved. The courting does lead to some steamy moments and as always with Ms. Spear’s the true mating comes with a complete commitment to one another.
If you love shifters, strong-willed women, loving men, a sweet yet steamy romance, some danger intrigue and mystery then ALPHA WOLF NEED NOT APPLY will give you that and so much more.
SUMMARY
Law Enforcement Park Ranger and wolf shifter Eric Silver is investigating suspicious wolves in the national park when he encounters a true rarity—an un-mated, she-wolf pack leader.
Forester Pepper Greystock keeps running into the hot wolf, Eric, but she's been burned by one too many alphas looking to mate her only to take over her hard-won pack. Plus Eric's on the lookout for criminals, and one of the two packs in Pepper's territory is engaged in illegal activities. It's a dangerous business, especially with Pepper and Eric's hearts at stake...
