Every chapter brought a new alarming development in this suspenseful novel that a few times it had me having to put down the book just to overcome the shock! Truthfully I have never read a story that surprised me this much. Joshilyn Jackson is an author who knows how to capture the reader and keeps them guessing without them ever figuring it out what’s up next. NEVER HAVE I EVER is the latest from Jackson, and I am still recovering from the exciting shockwaves it left me. The characters were strong and likable. One you kind of wanted to like at times but then you are reminded at why you dislike her. This is what suspense story writing is about, the unexpected.
