EVERY BRIDE HAS HER DAY is the second story in Lynnette Austin's Magnolia Brides series and it's simply fabulous. This richly delicious tale centers on a fabulous group of young men and women who have a vision to help bring back the viability of their small town. Misty Bottoms is a wondrous place where industrious, smart, sassy friends have an idea to create a wedding venue destination. One business at a time.

Each story so far has starred some very endearing folks and so now we are favored with Sam DeLuca and Cricket O'Malley. They couldn't be more different, and yet Lynnette Austin brilliantly teamed them up for a glorious story about finding love and more important finding home.

Cricket is just getting her business Enchanted Florist off the ground. She is a genius with her flower designs and a natural addition to the Magnolia wedding venue. Actually Cricket brings more than just flowers to Misty Bottoms. She is a source of fresh air and delight. A loving, bright spirit which is infused in all her creations. And most important Cricket has become a valued and loved member of this small community.

Sam DeLuca is a big city policeman who just narrowly escaped death during his last case. Sam has arrived under a black cloud and he is determined to keep to himself. After all it's his business and no one needs to know anything about him. His visit is temporary. All he intends to do is fix up his Aunt's house and get it ready for market.

Sam is determined to keep everyone at arm's length. Cricket is just as determined to help this man who she sees as a lonely man. Never underestimate a woman with a mission.

EVERY BRIDE HAS HER DAY is filled with some of the best characters and Lynnette Austin brings them to life through engaging dialog. Admittedly I have been reading this series totally out of order and it does not affect the enjoyment with each and every one of them. All three books stand on their own. This series is sure to garner a devoted fan base for Lynnette Austin. After all who doesn't enjoy a story about love and acceptance?

SUMMARY

CAN LOVE REVIVE A WILTING HEART?

Cricket O’Malley can’t wait to plant roots back home in Georgia, where she’s returned to restore an abandoned flower shop to its former glory. The only blemish? Her neighbor’s house is even more neglected than her old flower shop, and its occupant seems as surly as he is darkly handsome.

Devastated body and soul after a tough case went south, New York City detective Sam DeLuca thought he’d have no trouble finding solitude in the quiet Georgia town of Misty Bottoms, but his bubbly neighbor seems determined to shine happiness into Sam’s life. Sam is equally determined to close himself off, but his heart says otherwise…
