Perhaps, it is due to professional curiosity and the ghosts rumored to haunt the house, or perhaps it is due to a more personal familial connection with Sarah Kerrick and the mystery surrounding her. Whatever the case, this investigation seems different to him. All he knows is that he is instantly attracted to Ava, and the ghosts seem more active when they are together. Their chemistry is instant, and leaves him wondering what exactly is happening. Are the spectral spectators playing with their emotions or is there something real between them? Do they even stand a chance considering the history of the house?

Kelly Moran pens an exceptionally haunting romance. She creates a fascinating house complete with an assortment of ghosts and an old mystery. Her characters are driven, loyal, and quite likeable. Ava, a fiery tempered redhead, will do anything to preserve her family's ancestral home. Jackson, a paranormal investigator, is ready to come face to face with some ghosts. What neither of them expects is their reaction to one another. I found this tale to be an absolute delight. I could not stop reading wondering whether the ghosts would appear, if the truth would be revealed, and if love would finally conquer all. GHOST OF A PROMISE delivers thrills and chills for a wonderfully spine-tingling romance. Ms. Moran has certainly added another dimension to the typical ghost story. I would highly recommend especially if you enjoy watching all those ghost hunting shows.
