Scott Maclaren sells his grandparents' home in Ohio and
moves to his girlfriend Tiffany's home in California.
Formerly part of the Special Forces and originally from
Scotland, Scott is ready to settle for a more relaxed and
laid back existence now after solving a recent case. Scott
has accepted a position as head of the security for
Tiffany's father's casinos as well as in his home.
Threats are directed at Scott by his ex-girlfriend's new
boyfriend and he evades a hired killer. Just as soon as he
gets over one catastrophe, he finds another. This one is a
threat to his health, which takes a bit to conquer. Scott
has a cancerous tumor in his head as a result of his head
injury when in Baghdad. Early diagnosis is in his favor.
He and Tiffany are looking forward to a cruise to Alaska on
a new luxury ship after the holidays. Prior to the cruise
he aids in searching for a friend who is missing in
Scotland, always being solicited to help because of his
Special Forces experience. The last day of the cruise
disembarking in San Francisco has Scott called into action
again and using his special skills along with a new found
friend, also with the same abilities.
This is book three of the Kilted Desire series and
is
equally exciting, complete with chilling suspense and
sizzling action throughout. This is the kind of superman
every woman needs! The tale is full of action and mystery
which makes it nearly impossible for the reader to put the
book down. I loved the two tales prior and I definitely
believe this one was equally exciting. I will definitely
strive to search out all other works by this very creative
author. Who wouldn't want to read about a very sexy
Scottsman that takes the world on!
Mentally and physically exhausted from his Russian
adventure, once again all Scott Maclaren longed for was
peace and quiet. However, a frightening health issue and a
devastating personal loss soon put paid to that. It's not
long before his Special Forces skills are put to the test
again, as he battles new and familiar foes. Conflict,
suspense and sizzling action in the bedroom are abundant as
