ZOMBIE SEDICTION BY Morgan Fox is not your usual zombie
story, it is so much better. There is no world ending
zombie vs. humans fight, which I like. This is actually a
love story between very good friends who almost find out too
late how much they really mean to each other, beyond
friendship.
Tristan Davis wakes up in the morgue with no memory as to
how he got there. He is not alive but he is not dead, he
is not a zombie since there is nothing falling off of him,
but his skin tone is very pale and ashy in color. His first
thought is to get to his best friend Lydia Lockhart for
help. She is the smart one and will know what to do and how
to get him to be human again. He is naked and knows that
going around town with nothing on would get him looks, he
is trying to avoid being looked at because he is suppose to
be dead. He finally spots a white lab coat hanging in the
morgue, but no pants.
Lydia is startled when she is woken
up by Tristan in her room. She is not sure what is going on
since earlier that evening she attended a memorial service
for him. In true Tristan form he asks her if it was well
attended. Of course it was since he was one of the most
popular people in high school and now in college. She on
the other hand was a beautiful, brainy geek, who was picked
on a few times until Tristan made sure that no one bothered
her. The two of them have been best friends since
elementary school. They talk for a while and both confess
that they have been in love with each other for a long
time and that for how ever long they have been given this
second chance they are going to be spending it together.
Tristan would like nothing more than to spend it in bed
with Lydia. But she wants more then a few days and is
determined to help Tristan find out what happened to him
and find a cure. Her scientific brain tells her that there
has to be a cure because it is not possible for him to up
moving around and not dead. Tristan cannot remember what
happened to him except that his friend Tim was somehow
involved. Tim is a diver and they find him at the college
pool. He is very reluctant and scared to tell her anything.
He finally gives in and tells them both that he took
Tristan to a psychic. Little by little Tristan starts to
remember a little bit, he remembers she had cobalt-blue
eyes.
Once they arrive at the physic's shop Tristan knows when
they enter that the lady behind the counter is not the
person they are looking for. Here is where I am going to
leave you hanging, because this is where the excitement
starts. From here there are witches, poisons, and false
accusations. I recommend ZOMIE SEDUCTION to anyone that
likes a well written love story with a happily ever after
and with some paranormal thrown in. I say again this is not
your typical zombie story, it is better.
Tristan Davis is shocked to discover that his life has
become a true nightmare. Waking up in a morgue alongside the
dead was enough to set his head on a tailspin. Forced to
find out what happened to him, he goes in search of Lydia,
his childhood best friend, and the woman he’s always loved.
Lydia Lockhart is elated to learn that Tristan is still a
walking, talking member of society, but quickly realizes
that there’s something different about him. A searing
passion from his mysterious resurrection engulfs her, and
she makes it her mission to find the cure for what is slowly
killing him. Neither Tristan nor Lydia ever imagined that
they’d have the chance to fall in love. With time ticking
against them, will they find love before it's too late? **
