ETRENAL DEMON BY LAURA WRIGHT tells the story of two demons that have a heart, even though it takes them going through hell to realize it. When Cruen kidnaps Erions son Ladd right in front of him, Erion vows that nothing and no one will stop him from getting Ladd back. Erion learns that Cruen is to take a bride and decides that is just the leverage he needs to get Ladd back. What he does not expect is to find a beautiful demon that stirs the demon in himself.

Hellen is a female demon with the devil as a father. Growing up with the devil as a father and a mother who taught her some valuable lessons about survival and magic she has learned a few tricks at keeping her emotions hidden, how to defend herself to keep herself alive and deception. Being kidnapped does not feel much different to Hellen than growing up in Hell. Except she cannot understand these feelings she is having for her kidnapper when she is to be married to another, even though she has never met her soon to be mate.

The more she learns about Cruen from Erion the more she realizes she might have traded one hell for another. But she will not back down about the mating, she made a deal with the devil that if she went through with this he would leave her younger sisters alone and let them find mates their own choosing without his interference and let them live their lives in peace. When the devil discovers that his daughter has been kidnapped he is not happy. Leaving back for the Underworld he takes back Cruen, his two remaining daughters and Ladd. This is where ETERNAL DEMON really starts to take off as a face paced and exciting story. Everyone is chasing Cruen, who seems to be able to avoid getting caught by all of them except the devil. Once in Hell Hellen and Erion's true feelings start to show for one another. The devil knowing this uses it to his best advantage.

I liked ETERNAL DEMON. The story between Hellen and Erion is of two people (demons) trying to protect the ones they love by doing what they think is right. Even though kidnapping, lying, eating people and all manner of other situations may occur. It is still a story of protecting your loved ones and somehow along the way finding the one that is perfect for you and having eternal love.

I recommend ETERNAL DEMON, it is a must read if you are a fan of LAURA WRIGHTS Mark of the Vampire series. But this is not a stand alone, you will need to go back and read the 4 full length books and 2 novellas, but is so worth the time.
