Kim Harrison's amazing urban fantasy series featuring Rachel Morgan and Ivy Tamwood and all of their...pals/friends/acquaintances/frenemies... demonstrates that you just don't always know who wears the white hats, who the black, and who balances on that precarious edge of light gray, medium gray, and dark gray. Usually, Kim Harrison's additions to the series are grip- the-back-of-the-seat fast magical suspense, and, in some respects, this work is no different. However, THE HOLLOWS INSIDER is also something else again. This work is for those Buffy fans who loved the Sunnydale Yearbook or the Watcher's Guide. It's just too cool!

What is it? THE HOLLOWS INSIDER gives the inside scoop on everything Inderlander, from Inderland Security profiles, Hollows Gazette articles, maps, the Vampire Charms yellow pages ad, and scads of tongue-in-cheek advice or suggestions about living in the Hollows from the locals themselves. Not only is it interesting and funny, aspects of this book provide differently shaded perspectives from what readers see in the regular series, giving a more well-rounded conceptualization of the world. This is a gorgeous collection of information that will thrill fans of the series.
