Romance Paranormal

Poor Koranen has waited most impatiently for his turn at Destiny. When he discovers a city of Aquamancers he's even more intrigued. Could one of these ladies be his destiny? When the brothers make a deal with the Guardian of the Fountain at Menomon for their Aquamancers to come to Nightfall and study their desalination plant, they entreat Guardian Sheren to send four single Aquamancers. Thus sets in motion for Kor to finally have his destiny fulfilled. When the ladies arrive, Kor is appointed their liaison and guide. He also tries to get to know the ladies. Some are bolder than others but three of them complain about his hot touch. Kor fears that he will be a danger to them if he burns out of control as he is sometimes wont to do. The fourth Aquamancer Danau has her own set of problems. She tried getting close to a man many years before that ended in disaster and he ruined her reputation in Menomon. Now she doesn't date and doesn't want to have anything to do with any man. She doesn't count on Kor's persistence. There are other things going on as well leading up to the Convocation. Can everything be put into place before something goes seriously awry? Will Morg get Hope's things moved and get Hope to Nightfall before disaster strikes? I have thoroughly enjoyed the Sons of Destiny's books equally but reflecting back and realizing THE FLAME is the next to the last book in the series, I'm rather depressed. I so am not quite ready to leave this intriguing world behind as of yet. It is my hope that Jean Johnson has something equally spectacular in store for me after I turn the last page of Morganen's book!

Eight brothers, born in four sets of twins, two years apart to the day—they fulfill the Curse of Eight Prophecy. Though no longer trapped in exile, their growing family faces new problems. Now that it’s his turn to look for a bride, Koranen, the seventh-born brother, cursed with a flame that courses beneath his flesh, must find a woman able to endure the literal heat of his passion. Then Danau the Aquamancer arrives, and as everyone knows, fire and water create steam.
