Vicki Lewis Thompson's first hex book OVERHEXED was such
fun to read that I knew the second one would be equally
enjoyable and I am happy to report that I'm so right!
Jeremy Dunstan has always been a computer nerd. He has also
had a crush on Annie, the Dairy Queen since he could
remember. Now Annie is back in town for her sister's
wedding and she is divorced from the ex-football hero.
Annie put on twenty pounds since her divorce and feels like
she is way too fat and is not attractive to anyone.
Dorcas and Ambrose Lowell whom you may recall from the
first book feel as if Annie and Jeremy need just a little
bit of help. They also have other issues as well such as
George the dragon and now there is a lake monster named Dee-
Dee that they have to help take care of and keep safe.
George is up to his ADD impish self but now he has a helper
in the form of Isadora, the witch who actually helped found
the town. Oh what mischief they get into and it's all
Dorcas and Ambrose can do to keep up with them.
Oh my there was so much going on in this book that I really
didn't want it to end. WILD & HEXY was a wonderfully fun
book to read.
I highly recommend this fabulous book. It is a keeper for
sure!
Nerdy computer whiz Jeremy Dunstan has wanted Annie Winston
since high school, but back then, he lacked the courage to
woo her. Now fate has given him a second chance; Annie is
returning to Big Knob for her younger sister's wedding, and
Jeremy's the best man. Unfortunately, coming face to face
with the woman of his dreams still has the power to turn
his genius brain to mush. Perhaps what he really needs is a
touch of magic.
