Sometimes Candace Steele is a Vegas cocktail waitress -- at
least, that's her cover. She also works security at the
casino. But even that's a cover, in a way. What she really
does is kill vampires. Just as often as she can. When a big-
time poker tournament comes to the casino, she knows she'll
have her hands full working security. And there are bound
to be vampires everywhere.
Candace hooks up with one of the poker players for a few
good times, but learns he's more than just a regular
player. And then Ash shows up. Ash, the love of her life
she's determined not to have. Ash, the vampire, who seems
to have a stake in how the tournament turns out. And maybe
a hand in a big upheaval in the vampire world.
LUSCIOUS CRAVING delivered what I expected: humor,
excitement, fun, action and sex. Did I mention the sex?
Candace is as cool as ever, her best friend is still a
smart-ass, the vampires are still being vamps and Ash, of
course, is still sexy and a little bit dark. I loved the
seamless transition into this newest installment and the
premise and setting are great. I have three words for you --
enjoy, enjoy, enjoy. A good read.
WHERE’S THERE’S BLOOD, THERE’S PASSION
Sexy vampire killer Candace Steele is back on the Las Vegas
strip and determined to steer clear of Ash, the seductive
vampire whose smoldering allure begs her to surrender to
the dark side. But determination may not be enough when
Candace’s job at the glitzy Scheherazade casino drives her
right into the center of Ash’s deadly domain, for there are
rumors of a New Year’s Eve vampire assault on the casino,
and only Candace can stop it.
With the clock ticking down to the fateful night, Candace
isn’t sure if she can resist the overwhelming desire she
feels for Ash, but she has run out of choices. She must go
to Ash for help; even though she knows that the price he’ll
expect in return is nothing less than her body and her soul.
