Sometimes trust is the toughest lesson to learn. Sophie Shaw is days away from signing a contract that
will
fulfill her dream of owning a vineyard. For her, it’s a
chance to restart her life and put past tragedies to
rest.
But Duncan Jamieson’s counter offer blows hers out to
sea. Duncan still finds Sophie as appealing as he had during
boyhood vacations to the lake. Older and wiser now, he
has
his own reasons for wanting the land. His offer, however,
hinges on a zoning change approval. Bribery rumors threaten the deal and make Sophie wary of
Duncan, yet she cannot deny his appeal. When her
journalistic research uncovers a Jamieson family secret,
trust becomes the hardest lesson for them both.

Re: Share the Moon
I agree with trust being a very hard thing to come by these days and can't waitt to read this story. Sounds very intriguing. (Denise Boyd 4:23am September 12, 2014)
I love living in Connecticut as well. It's a beautiful state. I love when takes me to a place I haven't been and can get swept up in the culture, society and traditions. Nice post. (Debbie Christiana 3:18pm September 17, 2014)
Small but filled with history. Thanks for stopping by, Debbie! (Sharon Struth 3:25pm September 17, 2014)
There are places in Maine that I've read about that sounded beautiful, as well as places in North Carolina. I love reading about places on the water, mostly, and if lighhouses are nearby, or even part of the story, all the better!! I'm looking forward to reading about your latest story. I can't recall ever being in Connecticut, when I went out to New England many years ago, but that part of the country is beautiful, and quaint in its' own way. I'm sure your book is beautifully done. Congratulations!! (Peggy Roberson 11:37am September 18, 2014)
Hi Peggy,
You're so right, anything on the water really is special. New England has some spectacular lights houses on the coast. Sometime I try to decide if I'd prefer a house on a lake or the ocean…lol…like it'll ever matter. Until I'm done paying for college, I'm landlocked :-) Thanks for your nice words about Share the Moon. Yes, it's quaint and a part of me feels right at home in the story :-) Thanks for stopping by! Sharon (Sharon Struth 7:17pm September 18, 2014)
I have been to all 50 states and most of the world but not yet to Ireland or Greece. I would love to see Ireland. I love to travel. I agree, each place is different and offers their own charm. (Leona Olson 12:05pm September 22, 2014)
Wow, Leona! All 50 states is impressive! I'd love to travel cross country and add a few more to my list. European travel is one of my favorites, although I haven't been to either of those countries you mentioned. Next year we plan to go to the UK. Travel is a gift of its own. Hope you some day get to see Ireland or Greece… maybe both! Thanks for sharing. (Sharon Struth 8:11am September 23, 2014)
My family has enjoyed traveling with my husband on business trips. We just go wherever he needs to be and start exploring. We've found so many interesting places that way. But for living, we are both native to the Washington, DC area. As teens we vowed to never live here after marriage, then we moved to a couple of different states for college and grad school. Surprise surprise, we found that there really is " no place like home" and have been living very happily back in the old home place!! Your book sounds like a winner because it is not a repeat of what I've read already. Love originality!! (Ronna Lord 2:10pm September 30, 2014)
