Before it happened… Brynn had a group of best friends, a boyfriend who loved her, a growing talent for pottery. She had a life. And then…she had none. After it happened… Everything was lost. The boy she now knew never loved her. The friends who felt she betrayed their trust. The new life just beginning to grow inside her. Brynn believes her future is as empty as her body until Christian, the boy next door, starts coming around. Playing his guitar and pushing her to create art once more. She meets some new friends at the local community center, plus even gets her dad to look her in the eye again…sort of. But letting someone in isn’t as easy as it seems. Now… Can Brynn open up her heart to truly find her life’s own beauty, when living for the after means letting go of the before?

Re: Searching for Beautiful

I love how you wrote something personal. I connected with it. I would love to win
this book!

I already read a book you wrote "Out of Play" and I'm really
glad to have a opportunity to read another of your books!

Beautiful is what is on the inside - a person's joy, passion, love, empathy...
This sounds like a great story. Thanks for the opportunity to win!

Beautiful can be the physical look but it can also be the essence of the person.

I would tell my teen self to live for the moment but plan for the future.
Everything will take place in its own time.

My beautiful image is a lot more forgiving than I am.

'Beautiful' is someone with a big heart and who takes into account how others feel.

I love this blog,... I was the same way as a teen thinking
everyone but me was beautiful. I was friendly with everyone
& always said hi to everyone in the hall at school, I wasnt
part of one particular crowd, I was just me. I felt like an
outcast, but if I could go & talk to my teen self I would
tell her that it's ok to be unique & not part of one
group,... u werent a follower! True friends will like you
for who you are no matter what,... & don't be in such a rush
to grow up because u have the whole rest of your life to be
an adult, you only have a short time to be a kid/teen. Dont
put the weight of the world on your shoulders,... & it's ok
to grieve for lost loved ones, & it's ok to get help when
you feel like your life is crumbling down around. Yeah, I
would tell my teen self alot of things!

Beauty to me is something that comes from the inside! U
could be the prettiest person, but with the worst
attitude,... & that could make someone be real ugly to me.

Ok, I will shut up now! I hope I made sense lol

Only one thing? Well that's hard to chose cause i would
really love to tell to my teen self a lot of things.
But one thing i should have known that maybe should have
really mattered at the time, i would tell me this: God loves
you even when you don't... when you don't love your self or
you don't love him back or you don't believe in him or when
you think he's abandoned you. i would have felt so much
better knowing that few years ago when my depression took
over me making me do stupid things. And now that i know this
i'm a new person but i guess i had to go trough that time
period to be the person i am today so if i had the chance to
say something to my teen self i think i would not use it :)

Have never read one of your books, would sure like to win one.

I would tell my teen self to quit stressing over looks,
because we grow into ourselves and things tend to settle down
as we age. Acne isn't something that usually lasts forever.
