A threatened pack of wolves summon the only human they
know who can understand their messages of impending
danger -- orphaned Daine. Something is not right in the
once-peaceful Dunlath Valley. Humans are cutting down
trees and driving away the animals. Daine and the great
mage Numair believe the wolves' message of peril, but the
danger and intrigue brewing in Dunlath Valley are far
beyond anything they imagined. Once again, Daine must
organize and lead her animal friends to fight for their
land and their lives, but this time she must expand her
wild magic to a frightening new dimension. Daine must
master the power to enter the minds of her animal friends
and accompany them on their desperate journey to save
Dunlath Valley.
