Lauren Gershell was born and raised in Manhattan and attended The Dalton School. She graduated from Columbia University and Columbia Law School and worked as an associate in the litigation department of a large New York law firm before spending a decade as a stay at home mother. She currently lives on the Upper East Side with her husband, son and daughter.
