Ashanti wants to expand her doggie daycare business. She’s looking for more room and a kitchen where she can bake her dog treats. She can’t keep them on the shelf. Between her business and raising her twin teenage sisters, Ashanti doesn’t have much time for a personal life. Which is a shame, because she just met a very handsome man. Sure, he’s a little grumpy but he’s the grandson of one of her favorite customers. Miss Frances owns Puddin’, Ashanti’s dog Duchess’s best friend. When Duchess and Puddin’ are caught cuddling on the webcam, they go viral. Suddenly, everyone wants to meet the dogs. Ashanti and Thad use this opportunity to build buzz for their respective businesses. Thad and his best friend are renovating a building to open a bar for military service members. It just happens to be the same building that Ashanti was eyeing for expanding her business. Ashanti and Thad didn’t have the best start, but they started spending more time together. As a result, they realize they can’t ignore their attraction to each other. Pardon My Frenchie is an enemies to lovers and grumpy/sunshine story with banter, cute dogs, and family drama. The ending of this book was a little rushed, it needed another couple of chapters. I didn't want to put this book down. I would love to see another story with the secondary characters – especially Von.
