Delilah (the werecat), Menolly (the vampire) and Camille (the witch) are actively searching for the nine spirit seals that are hidden across the land to protect evil from entering the human realm. If these seals are put back together, all of the portals will shatter, allowing demons to freely roam earthside with the possibility of destroying everything in their wake. The sisters and their unique friends are the only obstacles capable of stopping the Shadow King and General Karvanak, who already has at least one seal.

Each of the sisters has challenges in their personal lives that help them understand their responsibilities in reaching their destinies. Delilah has issues with Chase not accepting who she is and what she does, and to top it off, she can't resist Zach. Camille is not sure if one of her loves will understand the reasoning behind the extreme measure of bonding and marrying two men. And there is always the question as to how Menolly fits in to all of their plans. But put them together and they are a force to be reckoned with.

Yasmine Galenorn has a very unique approach to a series that's exciting and interesting on many levels. I look forward to the next story (hopefully Menolly!).
