Sean J Fitzgerald

Sean J Fitzgerald

Sean J Fitzgerald is the author behind The Price of a Throne, the opening book in the saga, which brings to life the dry historical record of the Norman invasion of Ireland.

Sean is a Dubliner. He started work at the age of thirteen on a milk float delivering door to door in the suburbs of north Dublin; he can remember the horse rearing and the crates of pint glass bottles shattering the quiet silence before dawn. He spent years traveling and working as an engineer, salesman, and ultimately as an entrepreneur in places as diverse as Moscow, through Edinburgh to Boston, and onward to California - all the while in the company of their great writers: Chekov, Dostoevsky, Gogol, Solzhenitsyn, Stephenson, Scott, Kerouac, Hemmingway, Steinbeck…to name a few.

Today, he lives in Kildare, Ireland, with his wife, children, dogs, and horses, having returned home to do what he always wanted…to write.
