Kate Douglas has been lucky enough to call writing her profession for well over four decades. She’s produced ad copy for radio, covered everything from drug busts to high school sports as a newspaper reporter, co-authored a cookbook, written numerous freelance articles and short “how to” fiction, and published a lot of books as both an early epublished author (first contracted in 1999—what’s an ebook?) and with traditional publishers.
Her boundary-breaking erotic romance series Wolf Tales launched Kensington’s Aphrodisia imprint in 2006, and she went on to write thirty-one novels and novellas in that series, the erotic science fiction Dream Catchers series, and the paranormal DemonSlayers series under the Zebra imprint, as well as her final two books with Kensington, the beginning of a spinoff series in the Chanku world of Wolf Tales, called Spirit Wild. Titles are Dark Wolf and Dark Moon. She is continuing the Spirit Wild series publishing independently with Beyond the Page Publishing with two completed so far, Dark Spirit and Dark Refuge, available in ebook or print.
Kate is currently writing a romantic suspense series for St. Martin’s Press—Intimate Relations, with stories set in the northern California wine country where she lives. Watch for Intimate, Redemption, and Awakened, releasing as ebook and paperback. She also has a second lighter erotic paranormal series with SMP titled Feral Passions, set in a mountain resort for werewolves, and hopes to have more Spirit Wild stories in the near future.
