Missy Buchanan's book, Living with Purpose in a Worn-Out Body: Spiritual Encouragement for Older Adults, is a top-selling book for Upper Room Books. Her next book, Talking with God in Old Age: Meditations and Psalms, will be released by Upper Room Books in early 2010 but is available for pre-publication order. Missy writes a monthly column, Aging Well, for the United Methodist Reporter. She has also written for many publications including Presbyterians Today, Christian Association Serving Adults Ministries, Entrepreneur, and The Dallas Morning News. A sought-after speaker on topics of older adult ministry and spiritual creativity, Missy brings passion and humor to many events for churches, organizations, and women's groups.
