Prince Nicolo Barbieri is in New York ready to take over the
Stafford -- Coleridge -- Black Bank when he literally bumps
into one of the rudest women he has ever met. Realizing
things are different than in his native Rome, he still
remains stirred by the incident. Not in the way he expected
though. He can't think of anything but her. Even going out
with his best friends to their trendy new club seems to pale
in comparison to the memory of her. That is until he sees
her there. The night was passionate, and the girl mysterious
--or not.
Aimee Black, granddaughter of the Manhattan bank tycoon, is
hardly impressed with the pompous, rich prince. Even less so
when her grandfather arranges for her to marry him in order
to keep the bank in the family. Pre-arranged marriages are a
thing of the past, but Aimee did have a past night of
passion with the tall, dark, and handsome prince "charming".
The night she got pregnant. Was this all a set up?
This may be a marriage of convenience, but there is not
going to be a merger of the family if Amiee has anything to
do with it. Convinced that the prince is no "charming", what
is it going to take Nicolo to do the right thing?
Passion with a plot! I love it. Kudos to Ms. Marton for
getting it right. It's great to read a romantic story with
some substance. The plot is endearing. It was one of those
books that I couldn't put down till I devoured it all.
Excellent read!!!!
He had to have her, from the moment he saw her. No names,
no strings, no seeing her ever again...
It was payday for Prince Nicolo Barbieri. The Italian
aristrocrat's negotiations to take over Manhattan's SCB bank
were about to bear fruit. But he wasn't expecting Aimee
Black, granddaughter of the bank's current owner--who was
pregnant with Nicolo's baby!
Nicolo felt duty bound to marry Aimee and give his child his
name. But Aimee had other ideas about surrendering herself
to this arrogant foreigner, who surely didn't love her!
