Re: Death In The Floating City (2:30pm October 30, 2012):

my favorite places to read about? England in Sherlock Holmes' time. England in Sir Peter Wimsey's time. Prague, in the here and now time!

Re: The Deathly Portent (12:26pm April 28, 2012):

She drinks tea, 'builders tea' with a little milk.

This book sounds exciting! Whether or not i win, i want to read it!

Re: Sleight Of Paw (12:52pm December 18, 2011):

oh, i HATE to have my pic taken!! I look dorky, or witless, or dopey!! grrr. my sister and my son take GREAT photos, they are so relaxed, AND look good too!

Re: The Storm That Is Sterling (12:29pm November 22, 2011):

my favorite tormented hero? well, that would be erik from phantom of the opera. i have read and reread the book, and watched the (silent) b&w movie so many times.

Re: Fitzwilliam Darcy, Rock Star (12:47pm September 21, 2011):

this sounds intriguing!! totally a new concept, to me, at least!

Re: Murder By Mocha (12:24pm September 21, 2011):

apples!! cut into slices and served with sliced cheese. preferably colby jack.

Re: The Landlord's Black-Eyed Daughter (12:44pm August 10, 2011):

i love happy endings!! it's a way to escape the sadness and disappointments in our lives.

Re: Lie for Me (10:10am August 2, 2011):

wow. what do you do? compromise yourself for someone else's
safety? i'd like to read this, and plan to. thank you for
something to consider!

Re: Undead And Undermined (6:46pm July 22, 2011):

i sure do like your undead series!! i've tried the twilight. got bored!

Re: Royal Blood (6:35pm September 4, 2010):

I so want to read this! I have read the others and have given them to my sister to enjoy as well!

Re: Guarding Grace (10:43am September 4, 2010):

I remember Dark Shadows. Coming home from school and watching it! Scared the dickens out of me! The dracula movies with Christopher Lee. Oh so sexy!!

Re: Roast Mortem (9:10am August 14, 2010):

I read your series, and enjoy them, being a coffee lover. Pancakes, I love them, but can't have them. Makes me want them even more, especially with blueberries..
I have gone to pancake fundraisers, best pancakes ever, and so much fun!

Re: Unchained (9:00am July 5, 2010):

My favorite tradition would be Thanksgiving. It's family recipes, and whomever you call family present!

Re: Night Myst (7:06am June 5, 2010):

I so cannot wait to read the OW books! I'm a facebook follower, so I understand what you mean about other readers getting miffed that you are not writing 'their' series NOW.

Re: Kitty's House Of Horrors (2:00pm December 27, 2009):

I read the first two, and how I forgot about this series I do not know!!! But I wanna pick this up again, thanks to you!!!

Re: The Beautiful Being (1:37pm December 17, 2009):

I agree, I'm going to leave writing to others and concentrate on the reading. We all need readers, after all!

Re: The Cowboy From Christmas Past (7:28am December 15, 2009):

I enjoyed this musing, of your grandmother! What a treasure! I enjoyed the poem, how cute!

Re: Keeper Of The Way (3:59am December 10, 2009):

These sound so cool! I'm thinking a friend of mine would really enjoy a break from the cold today, with titles like those!

Re: Scorched (10:29am December 1, 2009):

I enjoy series! I really enjoy books such as yours, and will be picking up the series to read! Thank you for the heads up!

Re: Lucky Break (4:03pm September 29, 2009):

The romances of today are much better than the romances of the 60's, 70's. They were a tad unrealistic. Nowadays they're realistic, while being romantic. Proving it CAN be done! Yours are both, definitely!!!

Re: Lakeshore Christmas (8:12am September 26, 2009):

I go when I can, to the authors I know, and enjoy! I can only imagine the feelings engendered by holding a snake. Ugh!!

Re: Audrey's Door (6:09am September 18, 2009):

I agree. The woman who disliked your novel has no comprehension of the real world. I fear for her children, if any.

Re: Tears Of Pearl (8:59am September 3, 2009):

I had bought into the Victorian lifestyle, thinking it must be true. I had heard of Gertrude Bell though! Now that I know better, well, that's more for me to read and find out, right?

Re: The Fixer Upper (8:46am August 25, 2009):

I am a reader. My family is a family of readers. There were no books considered empty calories in my family. If you read, you were normal!!! What a shock then, to come to the real world and find that there are more boob toob viewers than readers. It was also a shock to encounter people who had opinions of certain genres (the empty calorie literature), and looked down on those who did not read the classics. I read what I want. To do otherwise is to take away my freedom to choose and to do as I wish. So bleah to those who think otherwise!!!

Re: The Cowboy From Christmas Past (8:36am August 25, 2009):

Oh my. That is one of my fears, that I will lose my sight and not be able to read, to have the book in my hands, turning the pages. Your grandma was a strong lady, indeed. On to a happier, topic, I remember the Jeeves and Wooster series!! Loved them!!! Read all the books I could get my hands on, too, of course!!

Re: Gordath Wood (2:26pm August 22, 2009):

Nope, you're not crazy. First, I have been known to start a series at perhaps, number 4 instead of number 1. Second, I too get caught up in a series, bringing them to life in my head, ruining me for the realities that want to impinge!!

Re: Tortured (10:13am August 18, 2009):

Sounds like a really cool story! Here's hoping you get some rest on that tour of yours!

Re: Beloved Vampire (10:09am August 18, 2009):

I have yet to read your series, but plan to! I am a bit different, I LOVE humor in my stories, just not all the time! But I agree, NO WHINING ALLOWED! My mama said no whining, and I apply that to everything in my life, including my books!

Re: Trust Me (9:41am August 15, 2009):

A fun blog! I have read your books, and enjoyed them! I will remember your five 'warnings' though as I read your new books from now on....

Re: Spackled And Spooked (5:04pm August 6, 2009):

While I haven't been able to visit places, I do agree, I've wanted to do so, based on stories I've read, Elizabeth Peters being a notable one! Of course, I wanted to BE Amelia Peabody, what woman doesn't?

Re: Hot Pursuit (11:14am August 2, 2009):

I don't use the library, I buy my books. But, our local library has had to close 2 branches, and put on a hiring freeze. Money is short.

Re: Bending The Rules (5:10pm August 1, 2009):

No. Just when I need or want to look strong and capable I start crying. Irksome!!

Re: Divorced, Desperate and Deceived (5:09pm August 1, 2009):

I haven't read you, I will now, after reading this! This is why I like Fresh Fiction...meeting new authors!!!

Re: Red, White & Dead (2:42pm July 30, 2009):

Wow. I wanna read these!! I love the fact you wrote yourself into your character, I can't wait to read 'you'!!!

Re: Seeing Red (9:49am July 30, 2009):

I know Noblesville. I live in a small city, but near small towns, which enables me to experience the flavor. The festivals are so much fun to participate in!

Re: Swimsuit (2:24am July 17, 2009):

I like that. You are following what makes you happy! I've read those stories, they are very good!

Re: Bluegrass Blessings (12:47pm July 16, 2009):

I like a book that makes me both laugh and cry, that involves me, emotionally.

Re: A Little Light Magic (1:06pm July 5, 2009):

I'd like to read this too!! I had read the review last month, but this article really brings out points that would be interesting to look for!

Re: Fight Fire With Fire (9:23am May 2, 2009):

Haven't read this yet, but wanna! Sounds exciting, yet realistic too! And fun...
