I don't think that I have watched any interviews. I do like to read author interviews though. It is always amazing to me where the idea's come from, how the authors prefer to work, etc.
I don't have a preference either way. If they are in first-person, second-person, etc. does not matter to me so long as the book itself is well written. I can read just about anything so long as it holds my interest and is somewhat fast moving.
Every Sunday we all go over to my mom's and have dinner. My aunt, uncle, cousin, sister, nephews, brother...all of us get together and just eat, talk, watch the kids play. It is always a good ending to a long week, and a nice way to start the week.
My daughter has dilated cardiomyopathy. She was not born with it, but got sick and her body attacked her heart rather than the virus. For a long time I made myself crazy thinking if I had taken her earlier to the doctor, would we have avoided all of this. After repeated info from the doctors, I was told that it would not have mattered, because they would have told me she had the flu and to take her home. That whole experience has changed my thinking.
That is my whole...what if experience. I live in the present now, and try to keep moving forward, taking care of that little girl and her crazy brothers :)
Back to school is a mix of emotions for me. I have 4 children, 3 boys and a girl. 5th grade, 3rd grade, preschool...leaving my daughter and I home alone. I miss them, but at the same time, it is good to have them back into a good routine.
