Re: Sleigh Bells Ring (8:01am December 21, 2016):

Thanks for the chance to win! Love reading Christmas stories!

Re: The Wood's Edge (5:05pm April 24, 2015):

I'm a nurse and I am passionate about making a difference in the lives of those I care for.

Re: The Snow Globe (6:46pm March 11, 2015):

Thanks for the chance to win---sounds like a great book!

Re: As Gouda as Dead (8:35pm February 7, 2015):

My favorite event that I have attended is the Holiday Folk Fair International in Milwaukee, WI. It's an indoor expo where you can sample foods from all over the world, see traditional dances from different countries, and buy goods at booths from lots of different countries. It is SO much fun, I've gone several times. My first time was with my German high school class and then I dragged several boyfriends along in later years. Now it's been over 15 years since I've been and I live six hours away, but I plan to take my family one of these years. I know they would love it! (Thanks for making me remember this event---maybe this will be the year!) Also, I would love to win one of your cheese shop mysteries!

Re: Promise Me Texas (7:37pm November 5, 2013):

I can't really think of a white lie that has really impacted my life in a significant way. I am not the type of person to tell white lies---not even the ones you tell just so someone doesn't feel bad. Like, my sister is a singer/songwriter and she often asks if I like songs she has written. I hate giving feedback if I really don't like a song, so I'll just say it's not one of my favorites. I'm looking forward to reading your new book. I have read your Harmony series and loved it!

Re: The Wishing Thread (7:32pm October 28, 2013):

When I was a little girl, I had a very talented grandmother who could sew anything. I loved all things sparkly and shiny and the one thing I really wanted was a shiny golden robe. Grandma made one for me and surprised me with it. It was one of the best/most meaningful gifts I can remember from my childhood. I wish I knew what happened to it, but it's long gone. I am such a sentimental person that now I really know the value of such a gift, but as a kid I didn't realize. Your book looks great---I hope I get a chance to read it :)

Re: Christmas Quilt (9:21am October 20, 2013):

I read A Simple Amish Christmas and loved it. I can't wait to read The Christmas Quilt---it sounds like a perfect read for this Christmas season. Thank you so much for the chance to win!

Re: The Butterfly Sister (10:10am October 19, 2013):

I love October and I've read most of the books you recommend as October reads. My favorite books are mysteries and I will be adding your book to my list of books to read. It sounds fantastic! Thanks for the chance to win!

Re: Death Of A Schoolgirl (2:36pm October 14, 2013):

I have Jane Eyre on my Kindle, but have yet to read it. It's one of those classics that I always wanted to read, but haven't gotten around to it. Hopefully soon, I will be reading Jane Eyre, followed by your book! Thanks for the chance to win!

Re: When Mountains Move (6:34pm September 12, 2013):

What a great giveaway! I know exactly what friend I would share the books with over coffee! I'm looking forward to checking out your books.

Re: Shades Of Mercy (6:29pm September 12, 2013):

I would love to read this book---I read a lot of historical fiction and I love Maine. I don't know anything about the Maliseet, but that is one of the reasons I love to read. I get to learn about something that I otherwise would know nothing about! Thanks for the chance to win!

Re: Traces Of Mercy (6:23pm September 12, 2013):

I love reading books that have an element of history in them. The memory loss sounds like a good story line, too. I am such a sentimental person that I would hate to lose all my memories (not that I'd know what I'm missing, I guess!)

Re: Written in the Stars (5:18pm August 28, 2013):

My husband and I dated for only 2 months before we were engaged and now have been together for 13 years. I think you just "know when you know"!

Re: A Rancher's Christmas (12:02pm August 26, 2013):

I think a coffee shop/bookstore combination is always great to have in a town!

Re: Strung Out To Die (6:42pm August 19, 2013):

I love cozy mysteries. I love the characters and the settings and also, learning about hobbies that are different from mine. Sometimes I'm inspired to try something new!

Re: The Amish Seamstress (6:44pm August 18, 2013):

I love to read about the Amish. I love the idea of all their "togetherness", but if I really had to live it, I think I would need to get away sometimes.

Re: Traveling Light (10:42am July 28, 2013):

I never thought about it before, but I don't usually watch people and think about what their situations are. I don't know why not---if you are a people watcher, you're probably never bored! I am looking forward to your book, Traveling Light. It looks great and I will be adding it to my "to-read" list!

Re: All Out of Love (7:09pm June 25, 2013):

I picked all different choices, so I guess I like all contemporary romances! Thanks for the quiz :)

Re: Summer at Mustang Ridge (12:43pm June 11, 2013):

I have had the good fortune to marry into a family with a fabulous cook as a mother-in-law. I am not the best cook, but I have learned a lot from her over the years. There is never a family gathering without loads of food--way too much for everyone to eat! One of my favorite desserts that she makes is a pistachio cheesecake. The first time she ever made it was on my son's 1st birthday and it's always a special treat at family gatherings.
