Re: Always a Rogue, Forever Her Love (7:20pm September 17, 2014):

Claim Juliet as his mistress? Ohh ho! Is he in trouble ! I can't wait.

Re: Ain't She Sweet? (11:20am August 17, 2014):

Thank you so much for your post on "Ain't She Sweet". I had not heard of this one before. I adore I-hate-you/I-love-you stories and this one looks great. Into the TBR pile it goes.

Re: Her Secret, His Surprise (10:51pm July 31, 2014):

Life is like a layer cake and friends are like the frosting that make it extra special. As for your snippet...Wow! This inquiring mind wants to read the "do-over" Oh, yeah!

Re: Ready to Wed (3:16pm July 24, 2014):

I try and choose a name that suits the pet, something unique and fitting. For instance, out latest furry baby, a black kitten, is named Crook for the crook in the end of its tail. The name has turned out to be quite fitting as he has certainly stolen my husband's heart. One of our dogs we called Blue, short for Blueberry as he looked like a blueberry muffin cut in half, all blue-grayish and speckled.

Re: In Your Corner (3:01pm July 24, 2014):

I LOVED your story and hope it makes it into one of your books. It would be an awesome addition I would love to read about (again). Go Sarah! and go Sarah's Dad! for recognizing what his daughters needed and finding a way for them to obtain it.

Re: Accidentally Married on Purpose (1:26pm July 18, 2014):

I had several crushes when I was young. David Cassidy, Davy Jones and so many of the cutie patooties featured in the teen magazines of the day. There pictures were plastered all over my room and even on the ceiling so their face was the last thing I would see at night. So serious back then but quite laughable now. My mother was a VERY patient woman I have decided.

Re: How To Lose A Lord in Ten Days or Less (7:41pm July 16, 2014):

I love to read (of course), cook, crochet, fish and garden (vegetable). Right now the gardening is seriously cutting into my reading time. But, I will have plenty of delicious vegetables come January and February.

Re: The Return of the Rebel (6:44pm July 10, 2014):

Anything that holds my attention is a great beach read for me. I tend to switch genres a bit. I will get tired of one and try something else to : (a)lighten the mood (b)come down off a dark read or(c)get down and dirty because the books I have read lately have given my a sugar high. You get my drift. So anything that captures my attention and mood at that moment is the perfect beach get away for me.

Re: Perfected (6:38pm July 10, 2014):

I like a combination of faults in my characters. Faults drive the story and have you cheering or jeering for the characters exhibiting them. Fear and anxiety, loyalty and jealousy are some of my favorites. Although I don't want to experience any (except loyalty) I sure do relish reading the consequences associated with them in my stories.

Re: Shenandoah Dreams (9:06am July 5, 2014):

I think that would depend on the place...or the time. If I woke up in the past I would definitely explore. There is so much I would love to see about the history I have learned that exploring it and living it first hand would be quite the adventure. Now, if I woke up in the future I might want to run screaming for the hills. The future is an unknown and I don't deal well with unknowns. (control freak, much?)

Re: A Doctor for Keeps (8:53am July 5, 2014):

Yes, I have avoided someone I knew in the grocery store, at least once. I have a dear friend. She is a warm, sincere, wonderful person....who doesn't know when to quit talking. One day while running errands (and running behind) I spotted her down an aisle headed my way. I knew if I spoke it would be 20 minutes (at least) before I would be able to get away so I did the only thing I could think of. I hid behind the beer display until she passed. Feel guilty? Absolutely. But, sometimes you have to choose your battles. My ears won that day.

Re: Full Exposure (2:00pm July 2, 2014):

I can't say a have a favorite but the ones I obsess over all have a few things in common. They are all very sure of themselves, alpha to the extreme and damaged in one form or another. You know, the kind of man that just waiting for a good woman to 'save' him!

Re: Crimson Heart (9:13am June 29, 2014):

It is such fun to people watch and fantasize about their stories...until they catch you and call you on it. Oops! Can't wait to read Crimson Heart. There are few things I like better than a hunky Highlander in a kilt except maybe one with a dark past. ;)

Re: Once Upon A Kiss (6:28pm June 28, 2014):

During one family dinner (Mom, Dad, aunts, uncles, cousins) my Mother decided we needed some wine with the conversation so off to the basement I go for a bottle of Daddy's homemade blackberry wine. Impatient man that he was he tended to bottle the wine before he should and as I was climbing the stairs I failed to notice the cork slowly inching its way skyward. I handed the bottle to my husband to uncork. No need. The cork exited the bottle on its own followed by a beautiful ruby red geyser of blackberry wine bathing my back (and new shirt) on its way toward the ceiling as my Aunt was muttering under her breath, "Devil's brew, Devil's brew". Mama didn't offer wine anymore.

Re: Huckleberry Summer (6:17pm June 28, 2014):

“I won’t,” he replies sarcastically.
He’s probably too old for a spanking.

I say you are NEVER to old for a spanking!

Re: Queen of Wands (6:11pm June 28, 2014):

I will have to check out Queen of Wands! I love horror and romance and scifi. Oddly enough, I love reading all three but do not like movies with romance as the central theme.

Re: Montana Bride (3:19pm June 24, 2014):

Ooo! That makes my head hurt just reading about all the facts you have to try and remember and keep straight. It will be no difficulty for me to remember that I want to read Montana Bride, though. It sounds great. I love reading about distrustful men (or women) and the lies that inevitably come to light. They always seem to work it out though. I hope that is the case in Montana Bride.

Re: Her Eternal Rogue (9:32pm June 18, 2014):

Oh..ho..ho! This sounds VERY interesting...very wicked indeed!

Re: Once Upon a Highland Autumn (9:29pm June 18, 2014):

I love a good cry...and a good laugh. The best of both worlds is when I get both in the same book. I also love all things Scottish. My ancestors were from there and my mother-in-law was WWII war bride from Glascow. Imagine being a young woman from a bustling city transported to the rural South...Ehhh! What culture shock and what a story THAT would make.

Re: All My Belongings (3:22pm June 13, 2014):

Oh, I loved the scenes you related...even better that they really happened. So heartwarming.

Re: Hunter By Night (3:16pm June 13, 2014):

"Sizzling, heart-wrenching, sexual-tension inducing angst"
Okay, you hooked me with that one! I do love to torture myself with a good, angst-ridden story.

Re: Romancing the Rumrunner (3:13pm June 13, 2014):

I like all of your qualities. Number one is my favorite. There is something about a hero with a tortured soul. It just makes you want to rescue them, give them a hug, soothe their soul and make everything better.

Re: Jaguar Hunt (2:01pm June 9, 2014):

Loved your suggestions! A smart girl can always lead her jaguar to water AND make him drink. Like all cats she just has to make him think its his idea!

Re: Their Unexpected Love (9:43am June 8, 2014):

I love the beach and wait impatiently each year to the time when I can dig my toes in the warm sand, listen to the gulls and surf and recline in my chair with a good story. And if the story is sad...I can say a piece of sand got in my eye and my red face is from sunburn.

Re: Demon Creed (9:31am June 8, 2014):

When I read I want to be swept away by the story, to live it along with the characters, to feel everything thing they do whether it be joy, sorrow, anger or ecstasy. After I finish the story I want to know that it lives inside of me by insinuating itself into my thoughts days or weeks or months afterward encouraging me to relive it in my memories or by re-reading it.

Re: Love Potions (9:20am June 8, 2014):

"I mean, how can a writer resist a hot guy in a kilt with a knee-weakening accent?"
Don't resist, don't resist!

Re: Wicked Temptation (6:47am June 5, 2014):

I would love to have been a actress, a very successful one with complete anonymity. I know those two things are at odds with each other but fame is highly overrated and successful actors today have NO life because of it.

Re: A Perfect Trade (6:39am June 5, 2014):

This sounds wonderful! I love a story where the two main characters are 'barely speaking' but fate has other plans for them!

Re: First Strike (2:58pm June 4, 2014):

Thank you for sharing this with us. You will be in my thoughts for an easy surgery and complete recovery.

Re: Harlequin E Contemporary Romance Box Set Volume 2 (2:53pm June 4, 2014):

I have so many. But, they all have similar personalities. They are tough on the outside but vulnerable on the inside. Spunky too, like Laura. I loved how she would light into Nellie. I like a heroine who won't let herself be cowed by anyone but shows her vulnerability to those she loves.

Re: Love For Beginners (2:33pm June 4, 2014):

I would love to try an all female garage. It can be very intimidating walking into a room filled with men who know secrets things about the workings of my vehicle, trying to explain the kathunk, kathunk sound I keep hearing and realizing they have no idea what I am saying! Maybe a female mechanic would be able to speak my language.

Re: Tempest In A Teapot (2:28pm June 4, 2014):

I have so many memories, especially from my childhood. Some I can take out, reminisce over, laugh at or cry then put away again. Others hit me with no warning, brought on by nothing more than a familiar scent or sight. Those tend to be the most intense but the most elusive, coming and going at will with no conscience effort on my part. So strange but wonderful how the mind works.

Re: To Charm a Naughty Countess (8:29pm May 22, 2014):

"You are the best thing that ever happened to me" is what my husband wrote on the card he gave me for our 36th wedding anniversary. It melted my heart! More than 4 words, I know but so touching.

Re: The Duke's Obsession (5:02pm May 17, 2014):

What an innovative idea! I never considered tucking perfume samples inside a drawer to scent the drawer's contents or to be used to fire up your imagination. I usually try to get rid of them as quickly as I can. I can see how that would work though. Scents tend to bring memories to the forefront for me.

Re: Risky Game (7:34pm May 16, 2014):

I don't read a lot of sports romances but one that stands out is Game Misconduct (hockey) by Bianca Sommerland. There was a lot of game playing but not on the ice. (wink) I did enjoy it (wink, wink). As to your book, Risky Game, I LOVE football, gawky girls and the hot players attracted to them and secrets begging to be exposed! Gotta have it! No risk involved!

Re: Wild Ways (9:29pm May 13, 2014):

Bad boys, biker or otherwise, have always appealed to me. They tend to give my humdrum life a little kick in the ordinary, kind of stir things up, get the motors running, the chocolate on the strawberry, the cherry on top. Of course all of this happens safely from my armchair with my book in my hand and my head in the story. They don't call them 'bad boys' for nothing and I am a cautious girl in real life. My fantasy persona is quite bold though and welcomes their attention. Bring on the bad!

Re: Rise And Shine (5:19pm May 10, 2014):

I found it very interesting (as a non-writer) that your characters seemed to have a life of their own inside your head and would tell their story if you allowed it. I totally understand the control thing. It is so difficult to let go and let others. I have always enjoyed fairy tales and look forward to your version of Sleeping Beauty.

Re: The Warrior (10:09pm May 6, 2014):

I love cocky, insufferable monsters...in my reads. Dante sounds as if he has several layers to his particular hell. I look forward to peeling those layers back and taking a peek.

Re: Secrets and Sins: Raphael (1:43pm May 3, 2014):

Having lived as long as I have, I have heard and said all of the words on Raphael's list, some more than others. My favorite at the moment is to lob a "b***ch" at one of my co-workers. Of course, I say it with the utmost affection. They know I love them. And I don't take offense when they lob it right back.

Re: Stop Dragon My Heart Around (1:31pm May 3, 2014):

"....wait, wait. You can't go to work yet! You have to listen to this", I say to my husband and daughter as they head out the door. Of course, I was laughing so hard I could hardly speak. Too funny! Good luck on getting those eggs.

Re: Searching for Perfect (8:00pm April 30, 2014):

Congratulations on your new book, Searching for Perfect and on the Belles on Wheels Tour. I hope all of you ladies have a great time on that looonng bus ride! I know we will love seeing you. I love a series as well, as long as each book doesn't end in a cliffhanger (hate those most of the time) A couple of my favorites is Gena Showalter's, Lords of the Underworld series and Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series.

Re: A Beautiful Distraction (7:41pm April 30, 2014):

I love reading about bad boys. They usually turn out to be not so bad at all, inside. Can't wait to read yours.

Re: The Paris Time Capsule (2:13pm April 28, 2014):

I think the most perfect, true mystery I have come across is...where do all those socks go I lose in the dryer? Do they run away, escape to live an adventure in someone else's laundry, get eaten in some cannibalistic sockfest? Inquiring minds and bare feet want to know. The "Paris Time Capsule" looks great. Can't wait to read it!

Re: A Broken Kind Of Beautiful (5:59pm April 26, 2014):

I think laugh lines are beautiful! They speak of a lifetime where happiness and laughter played a major role etching the face of the lucky recipient as a testament to others of their joie de vivre.

Re: Wild About Her Wingman (10:53pm April 24, 2014):

I think mine would be a good book, one that I could have a good cry over, and a quiet, uninterrupted afternoon in which to read it.

Re: East of Ecstasy (10:48pm April 24, 2014):

I love reading series because of the characters. I love to see them grow and change as the story develops, making new friends we get to know in subsequent books. I love to see how their lives progress in your imagination just as our progress in reality. Although, I have to say that their lives tend to progress with quite a bit more "POP" than ours do. Yah! for fiction! We can have our cake and eat it too. Congratulations on finishing your series!

Re: Unfixable (6:56pm April 16, 2014):

Oh, I like broody heroes and heroines who will not put up with it. Makes for some deliciously intense moments!

Re: Some Like It Wild (8:03am March 11, 2014):

Every guy I know named Jake is good and oh-so bad. I can't wait to discover your bad boy, Jake.
