Re: The Passion Of The Purple Plumeria (10:11am August 6, 2013):

English spy and a roguish Colonel William working together on a common cause.....what could be more fun? Love your idea of the Weekly Reader Round Up.

Re: Cupid?s Shaft (9:30am January 25, 2013):

Once Upon a Wedding. I do enjoy your character and relationship development. Lose ourselves in the stories....absolutely!!

Re: The Wicked Wedding Of Miss Ellie Vyne (9:10am January 18, 2013):

A mix of romance, humor and fun....couldn't get any better!!

Re: In His Brother's Place (4:19pm January 5, 2013):

I go back and forth between contemporary and historical, but I suppose in the long run I read more contemporary. Both are relaxing and enjoyable.

Re: Waltz With A Stranger (10:06am December 21, 2012):

I just finished reading Nora Robert's Boonsboro Trilogy and the Montgomery family. Talk about a close knit family and extended family! I love how supportive each was of every other family member through all the ups and downs.
Another family group I have read about was the Cynsters by Stephanie Laurens. I see I am not the only one who has followed this family religiously. How can you not? You are drawn into the series feeling as though you actually know these folks and are a part of the peripheral extended family of friends.

Re: Against The Odds (12:45pm December 19, 2012):

Our children were permitted to open their stockings gifts first thing in the morning and then we would sit down as a family to Eggs Benedict for breakfast. After breakfast all heck would break loose as the kids ran for the presents under the Christmas tree to see what Santa had brought. Our kids have carried on this tradition with their own families.

Re: Betrayed by Shadows (2:45pm December 17, 2012):

A woman (or man) who has strong character, can be funny and yet still be tough in overcoming adversities is definitely to be cheered.

Re: Deadly Patterns (9:36am December 15, 2012):

I love Eggs Benedict which is our traditional Christmas morning breakfast. As a sweet, I think it would have to be Bourbon Balls which we make every year as a give away. YUM!!

Re: A Seal At Heart (11:50am December 14, 2012):

A neighbor, a retired Army Col. (nurse) Betty Jones who recently passed away was a vital part of my team. She is responsible for saving my husband's life when he was having a heart attack. We have many retired military living in our little mountain community (Air Force for us) and we are all there to help one another. Military families whether active or retired are very close knit and extremely supportive. I would love to read your book "A Seal At Heart".

Re: Just A Cowboy And His Baby (9:51am December 14, 2012):

There are many traits that make for a strong women - especially motherhood. When you throw in love, well the career conflict can be a very real roadblock. A slight change in career path could make a big difference. Why not be able to do both? Instead of rodeo, how about raising broncs for the rodeos?
I would love to read "A Cowboy and His Baby" and thank you for the opportunity to win your new book.

Re: Love Thy Sister (8:49am December 11, 2012):

Ours lives seem to parallel one another. I am also one of three daughters and have one niece and two nephews. Both my parents were born and raised in German households and once my grandparents passed (both sides) their family homes were sold. I would truly enjoy reading "Love Thy Sister", although at times it is difficult to love my sisters. LOL Although we are extremely close, there has always been a sibling rivalry of sorts.

Re: Wanting Sex Again (10:46am December 9, 2012):

I would very much like to read your book. This is such a big problem and women seem to be unwilling to discuss this topic. Even some medical doctors are clueless. I would appreciate a straight forward approach on this taboo subject.

Re: Jane's Gift (7:37am December 8, 2012):

"Under His Protection" is on my wish list for this Christmas season and I would truly enjoy reading "Jane's Gift". This is the perfect time of year to read about miracles of love.

Re: The Bridegroom Wore Plaid (12:29pm December 7, 2012):

I enjoy reading novels containing historical information. Makes me appreciate the time and dedication spent by the author in researching and weaving these facts in with the storyline. Thank you for the opportunity to learn more about Queen Victoria through the factual tidbits you shared.

Re: Rancher's Son (4:35pm December 6, 2012):

I knew that Florida was known for their cattle ranches....Black Angus being the major breed. Where there are cattle ranches one might assume (I suppose) there would also be cattle drives. Although it may not be unusual, there are many wind farms there as well generating electricity.
Did you know that in the Tampa Bay area the pirate Jose Gaspar invades every February and takes over the city? Fun is had by all.

Re: Too Close For Comfort (8:58am December 5, 2012):

Yes, I have fired a gun many times. My husband and I often go to the range together for target practice. I compete with myself by trying to better my own score on the target. This is a hobby my husband and I can enjoy together. Lately I have done nothing extraordinary. When I was younger I was always willing to take on a dare. Now I live vicariously through my reading. Thank you for the opportunity to win a copy of "On The Road".

Re: Holiday Buzz (11:38am December 4, 2012):

Coffee and a mystery....what could be better? I have just become a fan and am working my way through your Coffeehouse Mysteries. Would love to find a copy of Holiday Buzz under my Christmas tree. Thank you for the opportunity to do just that!!

Re: Wish Upon A Christmas Star (11:25am December 2, 2012):

My wish is for our soldiers to come home safely to their families and loved ones. Big wish!!!

Re: Double Time (9:46am November 30, 2012):

Although my love of music genres is in constant flux classical guitar has remained a favorite. "Dueling Banjo's" is a part of my playlist that I often listen to while hiking. Strange? Probably so.

Re: Heart Of A Texan (9:38am November 30, 2012):

I absolutely agree with Leigh about cowboys. They are free of spirit, hardworking, love of life bodies willing to take a cause they believe in. I truly enjoy reading about cowboys and know I would enjoy reading "Heart of a Texan".

Re: How I Came To Sparkle Again (10:37am November 29, 2012):

By your descriptive directions I can tell I would truly enjoy reading "How I Came To Sparkle Again".
Not only do we live in the country, but in the mountains as well. Directions in this part of the country are always followed up with "down the road a piece" and "you can't miss it", but in truth you can. Roads, dead ends and "hollars" are often named after the folks that live on them but are never on signage. We usually wind up having folks call us when they get near and we talk them right up to our hidden driveway and eventually the house. Can't use GPS and Google Earth can't even find us!!

Re: Christmas Confidential (9:31am November 28, 2012):

One Christmas tradition established with my grandparents is taking gifts and visiting the elderly Christmas Eve day. Oh how their eyes light up when they see us coming laden with colorful packages. Our children are grown and not living nearby, but they are carrying on this tradition with their own families.

Re: A Christmas Bride / Christmas Beau (10:22am November 27, 2012):

A romantic Christmas story written by Mary Balogh, what could be more perfect! I am a consummate Mary Balogh fan and read all your books voraciously.

Re: Taming the Outback (7:35am November 25, 2012):

A strong feisty woman willing to take on what others said she could not accomplish is a real page turner for me. Many times I have found myself in this same position. Mind set and a willingness to roll up ones sleeves gets the job done every time.

Re: Holiday in Crimson (7:54am November 24, 2012):

Christmas is magical when we see the smiles on the faces of the elderly that we visit every year. We make small purchases throughout the year so that we can give these folks without family gifts. Their eyes light up with excitement when we arrive carrying gifts for all. This small gesture makes our holiday celebration truly magical.

Re: Unmasked (7:31am November 20, 2012):

Scars on my face make me shy from photos. I have learned makeup applications to camouflage them somewhat.

Re: Playing at Love (5:10pm November 19, 2012):

My favorite sports are golf and hockey. Who knew!! Two entirely polar opposites. One a very fast paced team sport and the other very slow paced individual sport. Not sure who I would place at the top for the sexiest quarterback, but I do think Tom Brady and Tony Roma are right up near the top!!

Re: The Twelve Clues Of Christmas (10:44am November 11, 2012):

Memories of Christmas always include a visit to our local assisted living facility loaded down with gifts we had purchased throughout the year (lap robes, bed jackets, walker aprons - aprons made with pockets for a book, kleenex, glasses, pen and paper, etc. that attaches to their walkers leaving hands and pockets free - socks, lotions, etc.) Oh how their eyes lit up when they saw us coming. So many of these elderly folks have no family near by so Christmas could be quite lonely. Now we are empty nesters, but we continue with this tradition as our children do so with theirs in their communities.

Re: Heart of Danger (12:03pm November 10, 2012):

Not very original, but The Stand by Stephen King is my all time favorite and I have read several. I think I related better to The Stand because we were living in New York when it was released. Very thought provoking. I am currently watching "Revolution" on TV (storyline - survival after the total loss of electricity)- certainly possible and scary. How about "The Andromeda Strain" or "Outbreak" both of which deal with pandemics. Would definitely enjoy reading your series.

Re: What The Cat Saw (11:26am November 10, 2012):

Our cats are our "kids" since our son and daughter have left us empty nesters. I work with cats as a volunteer at our local shelter. It breaks my heart to see the sadness in the eyes of adult cats that are surrendered from once loving homes. It gives me great pleasure to hold and love on these beautiful God created creatures.

Re: Christmas On Mimosa Lane (10:53am November 8, 2012):

Tinker Bell robe. Growing up we didn't have many gifts under our tree, but
to make the holiday special no decorations were put up and the tree
decorated until after we were in bed. In the morning we rush down stairs to
see that Santa had indeed come to our home. Even as teenagers when
asked to put the tree up and decorate we resisted by saying Santa would
do it when he came.

Re: Death In The Floating City (8:17am October 30, 2012):

What is better than curling up with a lovely hot cup of tea and a historical mystery/romance novel on a cold rainy day? All the background research authors do makes our reading journey truly come alive. I have never had the opportunity to travel to Italy, but would love to make that journey vicariously through reading your "Death in a Floating City". I just finished re-reading Ken Follett's "Pillars of the Earth" and the sequel "World Without End". Great historical background in both.

Re: Midnight Exposure (7:18am October 29, 2012):

Catherine the Great for attempting to bring Russia out of the dark ages. Another very strong woman was Jackie Kennedy who after her husband's assassination she went on to having a career in publishing on her own.

Re: Kissed By A Vampire (7:03am October 29, 2012):

I enjoy a mix, particularly suspense and paranormal. In my Kindle a constantly gravitate back to the suspenseful
paranormals for re-reads.

Re: Iced Chiffon (7:44am October 28, 2012):

A blond cupcake found dead in a Lexus. How fun is that.....reading about it, of course. I would be right in The Prissy Fox gossiping along with all the other locals.

Re: Night Thief (6:40am October 25, 2012):

I actually seek out novels (fiction) with factual historical details. I have learned more history through these novels than I did in school! Is that possible? When I was younger and foolish I did not excel in history so reading has become an obsession with me. What's not to like learning some history mixed in with a little romance!

Re: Tempting the Best Man (9:24am October 24, 2012):

Fantasizing about a true alpha male in a romance novel is great reading! I believe that if a relationship is to thrive long term, the line becomes bleary between an alpha male and a strong confident female. Complimenting traits wins in the long run.

Re: Losing Control (9:15am October 24, 2012):

Linked series about family or location such as Robyn Carr's Virgin River are my favorite genre. After reading each book I love the anticipation and reflection on what is coming in the next release. I would very much enjoy reading your Desire Series.

Re: Rev It Up (7:58am October 19, 2012):

I love the unexpected and enjoy guessing through the entire read. What's not to like. Keep on keeping on.

Re: Sultry With A Twist (7:50am October 19, 2012):

WHAT, those hot love scenes could just be a figment of your imagination?? WOW! Keep up the good work. Love it!!

Re: Miss Lavigne's Little White Lie (6:30am October 18, 2012):

First impressions are difficult as so many things can impact those impressions.....place, circumstances, occasion. I like to give people especially a second chance as many times other people have given me a second chance at a first impression.

Re: Return Of The Border Warrior (9:51am October 17, 2012):

Music seems to be age specific. Although I enjoy much of the current pop, an artist that I loved was Amanda McBroom. Only a few of our fiends had ever heard of her and certainly none of the younger folks of our era ever heard of her.
I truly enjoy reading novels of the Tudor era. Having lived in England briefly, I became totally engrossed in not only the history of the Highlanders, but the legend and lore.

Re: Born To Be Wild (8:06am October 15, 2012):

My scariest story came about when my husband suffered a heart attack. Fortunately after open heart surgery and 5 bipasses he is doing quite well and has been able to return to his favorite activity....hiking.
I have not been fortunate enough to have read any of your books, but I know I would enjoy reading Born to be Wild.

Re: Against His Will (5:33am October 14, 2012):

Not loving dogs........is that even possible?

Re: Shattered Silence (5:22am October 14, 2012):

I can just picture the rugged alpha male Texas Ranger in his slacks showing off his absolutely perfect tush. Now if he was just wearing his slacks, boots and cowboy hat......well that would be absolutely sublime.
