Re: Night Demon (10:34pm April 14, 2013):

Wow! Thanks so much for all the great comments and I gotta
tell you, Lukas from Night Demon has a crooked smile going
at all your answers! :)

@Linda Thanks for the shout out Linda!!! So glad you're
enjoying the Night Series!!! :)

@Peggy The Mayan civilization is fascinating to me too!!! I
was lucky to travel down there to research for the book and
it was a life changer... Really amazing people and very
under-utilized in fiction for the most part. Hope you and
your hubby enjoy the book! My husband liked it but there's
a chance he's biased... :)

@Mary Ann - I love your answer!!! LOL So true!!! :)

@Catherine - Super great point!!! :-) Lukas agrees too! LOL

@Mary - You're right Mary, that's why when I wrote Night
Walker, I knew I had to give Lukas a happy ending in Night
Demon... He deserved it! :)

Thanks for all the comments everyone! I'll keep checking
back...

Lisa :)

@Karen Ha! Okay you just made my day! LOL I hope you enjoy

Re: Night Demon (4:54pm April 14, 2013):

Thanks for all the amazing comments everyone!!! So glad to
see so many readers want some Brains with their Brawn! :)

@Chelsea I too and a SUCKER for a tortured hero!!! There is
nothing better than that moment they finally crack a smile
and laugh... My heart melts all the way to my socks! :)

@Kent - I agree if you save me from a car wreck I wouldn't
care if you could craft a complete sentence! LOL But for an
entire book, I might yearn for someone who can keep up an
intelligent conversation, right? :)

@Callie YAY!!! I hope someone makes your "wish list" come
true! :) Hope you enjoy the Night Series! :)

@Clare Oh you're right about the source of the "tortured"
hero. I don't like them to pouty and broody, but if
circumstances have led them to lead a life they never
intended that's the kind of hero I enjoy watching as they
navigate and change their stars... :)

Hi Cate -

I'm a horrible tv watcher, so I haven't seen the loud commercials... I do remember the energizer guy with the loud Australian accent and the flat top remember him? Yikes!

Re: Hellsbane (12:58pm March 15, 2012):

I definitely use a playlist when I'm writing. It really helps me keep the mood for the book! (And also drowns out the noise in the house! LOL)

Congratulations on the mass-market release!!!

Lisa :)

Re: A Demon Does It Better (2:30pm January 3, 2012):

Great blog Linda!!! The book sounds fabulous!!! :)

If I were going to be a critter I'd love to be a horse... I grew up with them on a ranch and I loved watching them snort and prance and play when you turned them loose in the arena...

I'd love to feel that power and run like the wind...

Good luck with the new release!

Lisa :)

Re: Hushed (7:03pm December 6, 2011):

I'm a sucker for happily ever after, but I don't like the lovey dovey stuff to stall the plot... I like them to get together and face the badness, learning to trust each other as they go...

I also love a good horror/thriller novel, so Hushed is already in my Kindle! LOL

Lisa :)

Re: The Fallen Queen (8:00pm November 17, 2011):

There's a though! We'd clog everything up if we never died! LOL But we also couldn't reproduce if we were immortal so manybe everything would just stop growing? Interesting thought...

Hi Peggy -

Sorry to hear about your health issues! You sound like you've got an awesome attitude about everything though... My best friend since junior high has lupus and she's plagued with strange flare up symptoms. You definitely learn to roll with the punches...

If it's any consolation, when you're turned into a Night Walker all your "human" maladies would die so you wouldn't be sick or in pain anymore. That's something, right? :)

Thanks so much for commenting!

Hi Heidi -

What a great perspective! I love ghost hunting and I do wonder about what might lie beyond this life... Maybe immortality would be a trap keeping us from moving on? Interesting!

Hi Tammy -

I agree with you completely! What would be the point of forever without the ones you love?

Hi May -

I'm with you... If I could keep my hubby and family and friends with me I could face forever, otherwise one life is plenty for me... :)

I'm so glad you enjoyed Across the Veil!!!

I'm tempted by the thought of forever, but I think you're right, you'd need a companion to face eternity with...

Hi Barbara -

I think I'm with you... It would be SO lonely and difficult to care about others when you know you're going to watch them die...

Hi Nina -

I've never thought about that, but I think you're right we make a LOT of choices based on the fact we don't have time to do everything... very interesting thought!

Hi Annabel -

I think I'm with you... Unless I could make my family and friends immortal with me I think I'd be too sad to live forever...

Hi June Ann -

I think you're right, losing our loved ones would be an extremely high price to pay for eternity.

If we could vary our employment that would also mean we would have to keep up with technology too, so maybe that would keep us in the present instead of living in the past and watching the world around us pass us by...

Hi Sara -

I think you're right about the problem of new identities! Calisto mentions that in Night Walker. He also has the added problem that he stays in the same area when he reestablishes himself... Yikes!
