Hiya! Hiding in SC doing this blog, I see. ;-) Of course, I like paranormal & suspense, mix 'em all you want. How does one hide one's identity when lives as long as 2,000 yr so 'normal' human folks won't get suspicious - btw?? Sort of remember that from "The Highlander" movie. Don't think one can keep on living w/ one name and addr for 2,000 yrs, not getting old w/out your neighbours and coworkers noticing, right?
I've become addicted to historical romance since last year, shamelessly admitted here. ;) Like it even better when the characters, names, events, places were ones I could related to in real history. Made me want to be able to go back in time back and forth at will, although I don't think I can live there. Especially those dresses!! They are beauty and gorgeous, but how could one walk, talk in those things, not to mention dance and eat in tight corset and yards and yards and yards of cloth!! Wonder what they'll think when I popped up in jeans, T-shirt and sneakers!??!! Oh! and with sunglasses and baseball cap on too. Ha..Ha.. :)
..Ooooh! The Irish princess and the Tudor King & Queen!?! This sounds good!! I've got to have this book, AND.. available in "Trade size"? Even better, easy on my eyes.:) Like it even better when the characters really existed in history, made it comes alive more. Thanks for your research, Karen. Ireland, here it comes.
