Re: The Last Victim (10:38pm August 5, 2012):

Internal guides always steer you right. Thanks for the contest.

Re: Wicked At Heart (9:59pm July 30, 2012):

This sounds like it's on my To Read List! Thanks for Damon and the contest.

Re: Lessons in Loving A Laird (8:08pm June 27, 2012):

We were to meet at a park and go for a walk and maybe a drink afterwards. This was an online "meeting", and a real one at the park. He saw what I looked like, suggested we go for the drink right away, wanted to meet at the place, and he left. He left, didn't meet me at the place, never answered my call to find out what happened. I knew very quickly that his idea of me didn't match up with rethe real me.

Re: The Most Improper Miss Sophie Valentine (1:24am June 24, 2012):

This looks good so far, and I love the new details idea!

Re: More Than A Stranger (1:14pm June 3, 2012):

Oh yes, please go! Things will never add up in some areas of our imaginations, but I bet some will exceed in other areas! I have not been, desperately want to, but the money part stands in my way.

Re: The Chase (6:44pm March 28, 2012):

My daughter and I really love "Once Upon a Time". We watch or record it every week and can't wait for the next installment. I think it is the draw of the fairytale personalities mixed in with true life people. I think the show's writing has been excellent, I appreciate the actors, and how the story lines are intertwined. You can definetly appreciate all the nuances with the "good" and "Bad" of all the people. Just like real life, we are human in spite of ourselves!

Re: Miss Hillary Schools a Scoundrel (5:45pm February 29, 2012):

200 years or so ago, if people were in school they were very well off and nowadays, people have numerous degrees and need more it seems.

Re: The Rogue Pirate's Bride (9:52pm February 25, 2012):

Escape! I like to put my husband and myself into the book as the hero and heroine. I also use books to escape the daily stuff, like the kids being sick, looking for a job, cleaning the bathroom... Thanks so much for the "escapes".

Re: Darkest Highlander (12:50pm February 6, 2012):

One of my favorite romance items is time travel, but there can be too much of that too. Tortured souls are great.

Re: Dreamers (6:11pm January 21, 2012):

Great question, and we all think we know, but what if we really don't??

Re: Sins Of The Highlander (3:53pm January 12, 2012):

All the wonderful things like a conscience, caring for family and friends....yadda, yadda, yadda. One of my physical traits is a wide set of shoulders. John Wayne is one of my heroes, and my husband Mike is the other hero with a great set of shoulders.

Re: A Promise Of Safekeeping (5:36pm January 1, 2012):

Picture frames, but not just any old ones. The unique and funky ones. They can hol a drawing, or words, a card, or nothing - just waiting to be filled.

Re: The Angel Of Blythe Hall (5:33pm January 1, 2012):

My husband almost never surprises me with gifts. The first 1 was the first time he said "I love you" with a grand bouquet of flowers. The next/last one is for Christmas/New Year - a Thomas Kinkade Town Bouquet delivered the 23rd to say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Re: Lady Seductress's Ball (5:17pm December 19, 2011):

For the cookies, my daughter and I made these meringue kisses, and I made the peanut butter kisses. It looks like a theme here doesn't it?! I love alot of cookies and kisses myself. I just checked out 2 books from the library, they are "Good Stuff, A reminiscence of my father, Cary Grant", the one after that is "Highland Hunger".

Re: The Storm That Is Sterling (8:54am November 23, 2011):

Thanksgiving is at my mom's new home this year. We always get together for the holidays, it's just a matter at who's home and who brings what. We all eat, drink, and get silly!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!!

Re: Fortune's Son (12:54pm November 18, 2011):

I see the name Sukey here and I rarely have seen that used in film or books, I love it! As for reformed...we could all do with some reforming from something or another. Count me in today!

Re: The Norse King's Daughter (12:02pm September 30, 2011):

I have had this happen to me a few times lately. I usually fall into my habit of an autobiography of someone I'm interested in then.

Re: The Wedding Affair (7:07pm September 6, 2011):

I really love the dollhouse, but you need more condiments in your frigerater, LOL. The swiffer thing? Maybe some fairies who need extra pin money would do?

Re: Redeeming The Rogue (10:37pm August 30, 2011):

The cover does look for inviting to read, and I love the parallel you used with the old "Wild, Wild West" series of working friends in this book too. Hope your time abroad is wonderful!!

Re: Lucky Girl (11:01pm August 23, 2011):

My first date with my husband was from a personals ad. He answered mine with "how he was caught by my beautiful smile". We met for a drink and reuban sandwiches, and went for a long walk in a cemetary. I still have the 2 pieces of birch tree bark from that walk and we have now been together almost 4 years and married for just over 1 year.

Re: Fezariu's Epiphany (11:37pm August 15, 2011):

This looks great, history with imagination!

Re: Magnificent Passage (6:19pm July 12, 2011):

That term "bodice Rippers" totally crack me up and I am happy to say I am an avid fan!

Re: Wild and Unruly (1:31am June 30, 2011):

I think that humans would destroy things if they had this capability.

Re: Night Veil (10:18am June 27, 2011):

Superman! The name says it all...Super Man, and I don't care for bats.

Re: Under a Desert Sky (3:20pm June 18, 2011):

I am 48, on my 2nd marriage, and with 2 middle school-age children. Contentment is the word for me for happily ever after, LOL. Content to do "my" best relating to anything in life or family.

Re: Louisa And The Missing Heiress (4:22pm June 15, 2011):

Instead of them out of the covers, I see myself in the covers with them.

Re: The Lost Summer Of Louisa May Alcott (4:20pm June 15, 2011):

This looks wonderful! I would love to read it!!

Re: Heart of the Highland Wolf (12:41pm June 8, 2011):

I think this is a great combination, and I would love to read it too!

Re: Forced to Kill (11:29pm June 4, 2011):

This sounds very interesting and I do love the idea of learning more of the Navy Seals!

Re: A Courtesan's Guide to Getting Your Man (4:53pm May 27, 2011):

I really do like this list, I am pretty sure it is listed in original form as bad, but....sign me up for your particular list!

Re: Heart of Deception (1:30am May 1, 2011):

When I was younger I loved to wear hats, I had collected different colors, and for different ocassions. But alas, I have now comformed to not wearing any. My love is still there, so I really do appreciate other people wearing them.

Re: My Favorite Countess (6:06pm April 28, 2011):

I have seen many doctors in movies and such, but have never known one in person.

Re: It Happened On Maple Street (2:29pm April 19, 2011):

This looks like a good read and congrats on getting this out there more!

Re: The Beauty Chorus (9:25pm April 17, 2011):

All the edits would be crazy and tough on me, thank you for keeping at it and bringing this to everyone!

Re: A Marriage of Inconvenience (4:44pm April 16, 2011):

Oh Boy, you called me out on this. I am more of a control freak then I will admit, and I am trying very hard to not have that put upon my children. Luckily, I can admit this, try to simmer it down, AND laugh at myself about it too.

Re: The Return Of Black Douglas (1:36pm April 1, 2011):

My favorite subject is "the Scots", this is very dear to my heart and my learning was just updated with your information, Even the word “Scots”, is a direct reference to the Highlanders and not the whole of Scotland. Thanks for this bit, and now I know everything, LOL!

Re: Yukon Wedding (11:51am March 28, 2011):

To be honest, I would LOVE to be wearing it on any of my fingers. If I really had to hide it though, maybe one of my vases with some colored pebbles and silk flowers to hide it.

Re: Hummingbird Lake (1:04pm March 22, 2011):

Yeah, I would lvoe to win he first book and then I can move onto the other 2 in the trilogy. I have never bought on self promotion, but I have just started with the blogs and reading from the artists words.

Re: Highland Heat (1:01pm March 22, 2011):

I love the "taming" part, I think my husband is adverse to that word too. This looks great for a future read, and I love your blog words "you have the power to make someone smile today…. use it without mercy!" Very true for all of us to remember!!

Re: An Unlikely Countess (3:18pm March 19, 2011):

I think it is good to want to stretch yourself to be better or your best. I think it is also true nature to wonder of what you are not, whatever it is...

Re: Angel Sister (2:02pm March 18, 2011):

I am the middle of 3 sisters, and I am too young for that era, but I would love to read this!

Re: Animal Magnetism (2:53pm March 5, 2011):

Grocery store address please! I have to go shopping later this week, and will really keep my eyes open now.

Re: Scandal of the Year (2:50pm March 5, 2011):

Great idea on the motorcar part, and in those days 40 was very fast I'm sure! Thanks for this push onto some "daring" escapades.

Re: Treasure Me (1:52pm March 3, 2011):

This sounds fabulous! I want to take a second and cheer you on, and thank you for this opportunity.

Re: Bitten in the Bayou (4:17pm February 20, 2011):

My latest favorite is "PS I Love You", it is not exactly a romantic comedy, but the part where it shows Holly and how she met her deceased husband and the new man. Those parts and many others are fabulous

Re: Love Me If You Dare (11:18am February 14, 2011):

I love VDay, and I give my children little gifts too.

Re: Breaking the Rules (10:13pm February 13, 2011):

Congrats to You!
I have heard of alot of these as well as a blowj*b. I like my drinks a little on the sweet side, but have to be careful not to mix too much, LOL

Re: Society's Most Disreputable Gentleman (2:44pm February 9, 2011):

Oh my, I have had a few "rakes", and thankfully I now am married to someone who is a "good" man who wants to be "bad" with me. I call this the Clark Kent/Superman Deal and I thank God almost every day for my husband.

Re: The Irish Princess (11:16pm February 1, 2011):

I am drawn to historical romances that are in Ireland and Scotland the most. Thanks for writing these!

Re: Pleasure Me (12:01pm January 14, 2011):

I love to put myself in the story, and lose the everyday "stuff" behind.

Re: Wicked Seduction (8:21pm January 11, 2011):

Yes, I do go crazy, not as a writer, but others deadlines. I think we all honestly do. Maybe the craziness is part of the way that you write, and you need it. That might be something for you to think of.

Re: The Fire In Ember (11:02am January 10, 2011):

I agree with you on the differences between the two, I do think that one steers us into the other. As we grow up, we want more to challenge our minds, and that guides us into the romance novels, us seeking more for our minds.

Re: The Ghost Hunter (6:33pm December 11, 2010):

I have not traveled much(yet), but one place that speaks to me to pay respect is Culloden Field in Scotland. My ancestry is not Scottish, but my heart and soul have been for many years.

Re: Outrageously Yours (3:11pm December 1, 2010):

I think that we are all heros, AND nerds too. I know I got my Clark Kent/Superman when we met on my 45th birthday, and married last May!

Re: Dating Mr. December (3:22pm November 22, 2010):

This book looks great, and I love your homepage. Very interesting and "funky". Happy Holidays!

Re: Miracle Baby (12:10pm November 18, 2010):

Someone with pride in themselves, and loves family!

Re: The Forever Queen (10:55pm November 11, 2010):

This sounds very interesting, and with what I just read, she did continue to be a Queen, perhaps in status and her intellect.
