Re: Chosen By Fate (11:49am October 9, 2011):

Hand your brother one of your books and ask him to read it.

Re: The Seduction of Sophie Seacrest (2:10pm September 27, 2011):

Holt and Sophie both sound like wonderful characters and I loved the excerpt. As far as brooding men go, I have to say that my favorite is the one I am reading at the time.

Re: Tempted (11:00am September 15, 2011):

I wanted to say Scarlett O'Hara, but since she has already been mentioned, I will say Jenny in Rosemary Rogers Sweet, Savage Love.

Re: Redeeming The Rogue (5:20pm August 30, 2011):

When I read a book and can't let the characters go, I reread it and then wait for the next book in the series. If it's not a series, I reread and reread it from my Keeper's shelf. In this case, Phineas's story must be told.

Redeeming the Rogue sounds like a wonderful book, and I must read it. Also loved the Wild Wild West series.

Re: Magnificent Passage (11:37am July 13, 2011):

I really enjoyed the old fashioned body rippers! Great giveaway! Would love to win!

Re: Runestone (2:41pm July 9, 2011):

I like men who are kind, caring, giving, loyal, and honest. It also helps if they have a sense of humor and can hold you in their arms without having to say anything, making you feel like everything is right in your world no matter how hard things get.

Re: Fallen (4:20pm June 29, 2011):

Hi, Karen! How did you get the chance to watch the GBI training? Are you related to someone that was there or what? I really admire anyone in law enforcement. It is such a dangerous field to be in and they don't get nearly as much credit as they deserve. Fallen sounds like my kind of book.

Re: City Of Promise (4:18pm June 23, 2011):

I am currently reading Heather Graham's Home In Time For Christmas. I have recently read The Bracelet and Twins Under His Tree by Karen Rose Smith. A Taste Of Desire by Beverley Kendall, and How to Woo A Reluctant Lady by Sabrina Jeffries to name a few.

Re: Forced to Kill (10:00am June 4, 2011):

Hi, Andrew! Thanks for the very interesting and informative blog. You are a new author for me, and your Forced to Kill starring Nathan McBride sounds wonderful. It also sounds like a story my hubby would love to hear.

Re: The Alchemy of Desire (4:06pm April 25, 2011):

I like both alpha and beta men. It just depends on the character.

Re: A Song For My Mother (1:19pm April 9, 2011):

Hi, Kat! Love your books and am looking forward to reading A Song for My Mother. Thanks for blogging with us today. Quite a tribute to your own mom. BTW, did your husband's book get published?

Re: Highland Heat (1:37pm March 21, 2011):

Hi, Mary! Loved your blog! Your grandmother was a wise woman.

I need to read Highland Heat. It sounds like Quinton and Deirdre have quite a journey together.

Re: Dangerous Secrets (10:37am February 11, 2011):

I think your book, Dangerous Secrets, sounds like a must have.

I had to drop out of junior college due to severe depression. I thought at the tiem that I wanted to be a secretary but wanted to go back to school to major in law. Around that time, I met my DH of almost 38 years. I thought about returning to school several times over the years, but each time I went back I would take one class, and then end up in the hospital for a week or two at a time. I finally gave up on that idea and worked as a secretary and a housewife. I am not sorry for that because I did meet my DH.

Re: Deadly Ties (2:16pm February 7, 2011):

Vicki, this sounds like a thought provoking book. I was an abused child and had a love/hate relationship with my dad until he died. I have been on the other side of that door and no one outside my immediate family knew anything. Everyone thought my dad was nice. However, to be fair, he had his own demons from the way he was raised.

Re: The Fire In Ember (12:40pm January 10, 2011):

I can also remember playing prince and princess as well as western heroes and heroines. I have always loved/love history.

I love to read historical romances and other romances for escapism. It fascinates me to read about the time periods, clothes, mores, and challenges they faced or are facing. It's wonderful to have a happily ever after in a story, even though in real life there is no such thing as happily ever after.

Jane is right. It takes commitment and hard work to make a marriage work, but it is so very much worth it when you or your partner do little or big things to cheer up, make smile, or just kiss and hold each other. You/They are home and safe.

Re: I Dream of Genies (4:02pm January 5, 2011):

Thank you for writing this book, Judi! Definitely a book I want to read.

Eden and Matt's story sounds like it will be hilarious. Add addled genie to man for love and loads of laughter.

Re: Real Vampires Have More To Love (11:43am January 4, 2011):

Hi, Kat!

I love your books and I love trilogies. Hope I'm not too late in entering this contest.

With one book, you get a story of a couple, but with trilogies, you get books about families or friends, so the main story is carried on with the addition of added people.

Re: Pay Up (2:50pm December 23, 2010):

Hi, Kaily! Your book sounds like a fun read!

I like a heroine that is smart, thoughtful, vulnerable, caring, and feisty. Usually she needs to find herself in a pickle that only the hero can help her out of.

The qualities of a heroine that turn me off are if she is dull, selfish, hateful, and uncaring to all around her.

Re: Rajmund (4:55pm December 6, 2010):

Your Vampires in America about 8 strong and loyal men sounds wonderful. I love that they are bad boys yet gentle to their mates.

Re: Murder in the Abstract (12:28pm July 14, 2010):

I love to read about bad boys, especially if they turn into good ones (for the heroine) at the end of the book. I dated my share of bad boys before I married my wonderful husband of 36 years. Susan, your book sounds sensational. Thanks for the opportunity to win it.

Re: The Wild Irish Sea (11:10pm July 8, 2010):

Loved the top 10. Thanks so much for this giveaway. The book sounds really good.

Re: Crush On You (5:45pm July 6, 2010):

I really enjoy friends to lovers stories. My husband and I of 36 years were friends for the first 10 months of our relationship, or so we thought. Everyone else but us realized we were in love long before we did. LOL! I am really looking forward to reading your book, Crush on You, Christie.

Re: Rapture Untamed (8:49pm June 29, 2010):

I love both stand-a-lones and series books. The only problem with s series is that you have to wait for the next one to come out, but you know who many of the characters are, or you find out along the way.

Re: The Master & the Muses (6:06pm June 28, 2010):

I think that the perfect hero is someone with faults and strengths of his own, but he is always there for you when he is needed.

Re: Dark Flame (3:34pm June 27, 2010):

Welcome to FF, Becky! Sounds like you're going to fit right in. I haven't read anything of Allyson's yet, but this book sounds good.

Re: Fatal Affair (3:02pm June 27, 2010):

This book sounds like a book I would love to read.

Re: Hidden Wives (12:25pm June 27, 2010):

Right now I am reading 3 Seductions and a Wedding. Love it so far. I love to read new books as well as old ones.
