Re: No Heartbreaker Required (7:44am June 14, 2019):
Reason 1 - Getting my feet rubbed nearly every day to relieve my pain. Reason 2 - Making me food when I am tired, whiny, and cannot even make a cup of noodles for myself. Reason 3 - Being a warm fuzzy huggy bear. Seriously, like a heater under the covers.

Planting your garden, knowing how lovely everything is going to be!
Re: A Shot of Murder (2:14am April 17, 2019):
I like the idea of researching whiskey! Sounds like you had a grand time researching and writing this one.
Re: Death Blow (2:13am April 17, 2019):
Yikes. Not sure about a match... but the book is certainly a match for me!
Re: Twice Tempted (1:26am December 5, 2014):
I love series - especially the never-ending ones ;) I appreciate the well developed over multiple books story arcs and relationships - it makes the world more real. My biggest problem is when an author's muse stops inspiring that particular series and I want more :(
Re: Waking Up Joy (1:22am December 5, 2014):
My mom read those Danielle Steele's. To this day, when I see them it makes me think of her. I love romance novels of all kinds. I must admit to having a full on book addiction! Tina - have you considered trying to find that friend via social media? I bet you could track her down. Maybe she is on Goodreads... or even has a book out too. Wouldn't it be great to trade books with her - your own?!?
Re: Brushing Off The Boss (11:03pm September 17, 2014):
I have read every single one of your books Annie and I adore them all. To a certain degree each new one becomes my favorite; but there are two that remain in my top picks because of their locations, the descriptions, and how they fit... Italian Affair and Outback Affair both take place in regions far removed from Seattle, where I live. Outback Affair especially is neat since Australia in one of the places I have never been. I loved the vivid scenery and your descriptions of everything truly brought it to life in my mind. In my State of the US we have every single type of climate or environment: ocean front, dessert, woodland, prairie, rainforest, snowy mountains, etc. Australia is one of those regions of the world that also seems to encompass MORE. The rich descriptive power you bring to bear makes readers like me want to wing our way to you... especially when you include such a fascinating recipe. Brushing Off The Boss does it AGAIN!! The area is not that far; just 2 states South, and familiar... so I appreciate how lovely it is through your eyes. It may not be terribly exotic, but your descriptions of the area and the characters are evocative... I also enjoyed seeing another recipe! So ultimately, whether the locale is exotic or mundane, whether the people are at home or not, the best books to read are those which, like yours... are descriptive and help us as the readers to journey with you in our minds to a place and a story that sweeps us away.

Women as muffins.... teehee. Sounds like sometimes Freddie might be hard to like; but then again having a real personality with actual likes and dislikes is kind of nice. Having a more normal guy is sometimes nice...
Re: Rising Assets (8:11am April 8, 2014):
When I tell someone that I am low on minutes and to call my other phone or message me and they call me 27 times on my cell in less than 24 hours. Ugh!

Re: The Trouble With Honor (1:27am February 26, 2014):
You had me with the description, but the teaser was the icing on the cake! Thanks for the excerpt and giveaway!
Re: Hot Rock (9:33pm February 25, 2014):
Hi Annie! Hot Rock was fantastic - love that is timeless... sigh. That is part of the appeal; the music is timeless! To a certain degree so are the rockers... think Rod Stewart... or what about Bob from DEVO? Did you feel surprise that he died, like me? It seems like they would live forever if they don't flame out young... And Bowie... oh yumyumyum. Labyrinth? Ziggy Stardust? OH MY!
Re: Much Ado About Jack (6:28pm February 18, 2014):
I wonder... I think that it would all be fodder for his writing... maybe someone needs to write a book where he is a vampire living in later times and still writing...
Re: Once Upon a Masquerade (4:19am February 18, 2014):

Re: The Trigger (8:44pm January 1, 2014):
I admit to stockpiling food. I also make my own laundry detergent. It's partially that inner girl scout and partially my odd need to feed other people.
Re: If Wishes Were Earls (5:26pm December 30, 2013):
I love the 6 brothers thing... as a girl whose besties are ALL guys... I have experienced the blockage that can occur... funny stories ensue. Thanks for the contest!
Re: Freezer I'll Shoot (9:46am December 28, 2013):
I just want to get through the next couple of months, find out what is wrong with my foot, have the surgery, and then I can finally be active again and get back on my weight loss track.
Re: Soul Deep (3:20am February 4, 2013):
I can totally see the draw of best friend stories just as much as any other.
Re: Deck the Halls With Love (4:02am January 30, 2013):
I love that you let your characters be so alive, your description of how they come to you is pretty neat.
Re: Secrets Of A Wedding Night (2:53am September 28, 2012):
Smart math guy... yup, super sexy. Okay, I admit it I adore Sheldon on the Big Bang Theory. I have been wondering for a while just what Faro is... google search time!! Thanks for the giveaway!
Re: Deadly Little Lies (3:21am September 18, 2012):
Hmmm. I actually enjoyed just about every book I read as a kid. There were SO very many books that impacted me. I loved Madeleine L'Engle, I read quite a bit of science fiction and fantasy and even mysteries.
Re: Allergic To Death (10:36pm August 18, 2012):
Oooh. These look like great books! I love food and mystery together. Thanks for the contest, I have not read these yet and just added you to my TBR list.
Re: Going To The Bad (8:56am August 6, 2012):
I always hate losing someone I like, even if it is "only" a book person. My hubby can't get over it when I cry over a person that he does not see as real.
