Re: One Touch of Scandal (10:32am September 28, 2010):

Awesome thing to do for the kitties!! Great story, lol.

Re: The Bride's Necklace (11:02am September 18, 2010):

Oh, wow ~~ the covers for the Raine's Brothers are awesome!! Congrats!! And while I TRY not let a cover sway me, I have to admit the yummy ones call my name and lure to pick up a book and read the blurb.

Re: Breaking Loose (10:41am August 13, 2009):

I love the Crazy books....the fast pace, the crazy sex, the smart sassy women and kick ass heros. I truly loved your Glenna McReynolds books and was SO thrilled when you came out with the crazy series...and I say give us more sex in cars, lol!! I love it, and the cars....

Re: The Perfect Couple (10:41am August 10, 2009):

A coulple authors I loved have just dissapeared, Sandi!! Elizabeth Elliot is one, and she left her last book hanging as a set up for the next book. Wow, that's been about 7 yrs ago, and have never heard anything since. And what the heck happened to Judith McNaught? It took two years for her last book, and the one that was due out here recently show on Amazon as not currently available. Hmm...She is one of my keepers, so I'll be SO sad to see her not writing anymore. Some of my all time favorites came from her. As far as hardcovers, I hate that SO many are going with them, as it really cuts my book buying budget down. : < (
The only one I can think of that I KNOW who doesn't have a contract and who's writing I miss is Dara Joy. And it's been so many years now, sigh.

Re: Mackenzie's Legacy (3:25pm July 27, 2009):

Oh, good blog, Sandi!!
And I always wanted more MacGregors and MacKenzie's...but I couldn't handle the death of Daniel or Wolf...so probably best there aren't any more....Johanna Lindsey finally picked back up the Andersend and Mallory storyline a few years back, and I was SO thrilled, as I love them...I love the Jones family from JAK/Jayne Castle/Amanda Quick...and I really like the way she continues the story line through the different subgenres....Oh, and the Donovans, I'd love to see another generation of them. Oh, and Elizabeth Lowell...she never wrote the 2nd twins story in Rarities Unlimited series, Justin. I WANT his story some day.

Re: Mr. Perfect (1:48pm July 12, 2009):

Recently?? Hmmm....I have to say I BOUGHT Jennifer Haymore's historical becuase of all the online hype about it, but haven't read it yet. Everyone is raving about how great it is!!
Ooh, I know~~Elisabeth Naughton, Stolen Fury. I read about it on SO many blogs, and the snippets caught me, so I bought it. and thought, I'll just peek...and read the whole book, lol, w/out setting it down. It is AWESOME!! I loved it, and am now on the hook for the next in the series.....

Re: Everywhere She Turns (11:15am July 4, 2009):

Hi, Deb!! I'm not a writer, but I can so relate to this story. I'm actually an autoworker, have worked at Ford for 17 yrs. For the first 14 years, I could work as many hours as I wanted, and most weeks had at least 50 hours under my belt. I learned to live on that 50 hr paycheck, and got used to having the extra money all the time. Fast forward to today, where we are LUCKY if we get 40 hrs, have spent many, many weeks on layoff in the past 2 years, and have lost OT pay in certain ways, lost our raises, etc. WOW. It was a HUGE adjustment when this first started happening. It was like what the heck?? I've always had money for everything, and now suddenly I don't?? It took me while to adjust, and train myself to be on a budget. It's hard, lol.
I think this is a trap we can all fall into.
Great advice!!

Re: The Marine's Babies (9:43pm May 25, 2009):

LOVED Demon's Seduction by Lisa Renee Jone!!
Oooh, and you didn't mention it but she has a Nocturne out this month that is AWESSOME, Captive of the Beast. And Maya Banks has a Desire out that that I LOVED.......

Re: My Forbidden Desire (9:39pm May 25, 2009):

When I'm reading paranormal, especially shifters, I just take it that it's magic, and don't question it too deepley. To me you're reading fantasy, anyway....why question it to death? It's very seldom I run across something that is SO out there I'll even think twice about it. Each author I read uses something a little different, which I've come to expect, and actually love that there are so many different things out there.

Re: The Warrior (8:38pm May 25, 2009):

I'm totally an impulse buyer, Sandi. Not as bad as I used to be, since money is a little tighter, but still....alot of times I'll go to the store w/ no certain item in mind, and wind up buying all kinds of things. Today went to Wal Mart just to look around and bought Moonlight Warrior, a new blowdryer, a tie dye kit for my daughter....just things, lol. Nothing I needed or was even really looking for.

Re: Pretty in Plaid (2:31pm May 17, 2009):

Sandi~~I'm always early~~I can't stand to be late. LOL, at work they make fun of me because I come in like an hour early, but then I have time to do things like set up my coffee pot, get my paperwork ready, etc, and don't feel rushed. If I'm running behind I feel that way all night~~doesn't matter if I am or not, it's like I'm chasing my own tail, lol.

Re: Behind The Shadows (10:53pm April 26, 2009):

OH, YEAH, Sandi....I'm all about some reatail therapy, and book shopping is the BEST. But I'm a lover of TJ MAXX, and have been known to head there for therapy, too. LOL. How cool you found those two new releases for HALF price???
Made the work incident better, I'm sure. Good luck w/ that, btw. Hopefully they realize you were having a bad day.

Re: The Accidental Human (2:28pm April 12, 2009):

I'm like you, Sandi. I might pick a book up if it's got a really eye catching cover and read the blurb, but still might not buy it, but an equally hideous cover will have me picking it up as well, lol, just to see who was so unlucky as to have scored that cover. Very seldom do I really pay much attention to covers in regards to the story. The heroine could be a different ethnicity and I very likely might not notice once I'm reading, lol. I DO notice hotties, and think St. Martins has some of the most tastefull covers out there, but they truly don't effect my buying habits much. LOL, they might effect if I take it to work and read it in front of all the men I work with, but I'll still read it, just at home!! ;> )
