Re: Romancing the Ranger (1:06am March 19, 2016):

Definitely need music to get through a workout, but only if it's in a gym or
on the treadmill inside the house. When I'm outside I'm good just listening
to the birds as I walk/jog.
I also like to listen to the radio while doing the dishes! My sink faces a wall
with no window so without the radio or music playing it gets depressing lol.

Re: The End of the World (6:00pm February 24, 2016):

Geez woman! Your post had me on the verge of tears and now I can't wait
to read this book. I was in similar situations, lived in shelters, etc as kid and
so books with these types of character always call to me.
I've always dreamed of having a home and loving family of my own💗 and
look forward to the day I find my person and he finds me:)
But as far as actual dreams go I have had a few just like yours, about
places that take on their own lives in my imagination and thoughts. One
was about an old fashioned two story house. I've never lived in a two story
house where I had siblings that in waking life don't exist lol!

Re: Love Me, Love Me Not (5:40pm February 24, 2016):

This book sounds crazy. I must have it lol!

Re: A Friendly Flirtation (5:33pm February 24, 2016):

Don't have one yet, but look forward to the day I do:)

Re: SEAL Wolf in Too Deep (4:49pm February 4, 2016):

Well I guess I'd try what I do with stray rescue animals I've come across,
which is have food as a lure, use a gent long voice, and a crate to put them
in lol!
But since it's a werewolf the food would be a steak instead of kibble? And
the gentle words would be as no condescending as possible 😂

Re: Vicki's Key (7:50am March 28, 2012):

I too like the lyrical sound of it, and wouldn't mind dating a guy with it lol

Re: The Chase (7:41am March 28, 2012):

I have 2 favorite tv shows at the moment! The first is Mad Men, which I missed when it was on hiatus for so long and I am thrilled came back for season 5 this week:D I just love the vintage fashion, great writing &acting, and Jon Hamm. I feel like I get a sense of what it was like back then too. The other show is Dancing with the Stars. I'd never seen it before but my mom loved it ever since Emmitt Smith was on and she got me to watch last week. So now I'm rooting & voting for Sherri Shepherd cuz she makes me laugh so much, lol!

Re: The Forbidden Claim (4:19am March 12, 2012):

Always sleep!lol Extra sleep is where I'd invest any and all bonus minutes I gain, and then if I'm feeling rested enough I'd add to get more reading time:)

Re: Obsidian (2:31am March 4, 2012):

Oh my gosh that is the cutest story I've read in a long time!! I read so many series that it's getting to the point where I'm being choosier about starting any new ones but I love a good cover and even more, a good real life romance! So I'm definitely inspired to pick up Obsidian now and start the Lux series:D Thanks for sharing both the cool backstory and the excerpt:)

Re: One Book In The Grave (7:15am February 2, 2012):

btw, that puzzle is awesome! what a great way to have a pretty book cover

Re: One Book In The Grave (7:12am February 2, 2012):

I visit author sites mostly to confirm when their next book is coming out and
what it's going to be. And if I'm lucky, theirs a bonus short story or an excerpt to
tide me over:) I've been fortunate to win several author contests for their books!
It was the best feeling to get a book in the mail from a favorite author, and they
even took the time to sign it:D

Re: Alpha Instinct (2:25am February 2, 2012):

I love paranormal romance for lots of reasons but I think the biggest is that like
many people, I can relate to feeling like an outsider. Magical and paranormal
reasons make that feeling turn into something fun!lol Plus, the heroes are sexy
alphas (like vamps & weres) with a hint of vulnerability that only the heroine and
reader gets to see:)

Re: The Virtuoso (7:39pm November 2, 2011):

Im glad there are five more Windham siblings to go, and I love sibling stories:)

Re: The Darkest Sin (9:38am June 2, 2011):

Winning a trip to London would be unreal! It's the kind of thing that would
make me believe that maybe there *is* a fairy godmother for me out there, lol

If I got to go, I'd want to ride in the London Eye; it just seems so iconic to me
and I love a good view. And of course I'd want to see the ravens, crown jewels,
and beefeaters! So I'd go for a visit of the Tower of London :D
And then of course I'd have to see Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament,
Harrods, and Westminster Abbey. Hampton Court Palace also is a must, just to
see where King Henry lived, maybe even stand on the very same spot Anne
Boleyn did without knowing it. And last but not least, I would love to get to go
to the British Museum!! All that history and the magic of seeing artifacts that
peoples from hundreds of year ago used every day...that would be amazing.

Re: The Soldier (9:21am June 2, 2011):

Funny how hard it can sometimes be to think of siblings as grown-ups lol.
Especially when they drag you back into age-old patterns of picking on each
other or whatever. Like St. Just, I still tend to think of my brother as he was when
he was a little boy as my first mental image of him LOL!

Re: Ashes Of The Earth (1:08am May 18, 2011):

You know, I really don't have a vision of what it would look like in a post-
apocalyptic world because I've never felt it a possibility. But recently I've
absolutely LOVED reading all the dystopic/post-apocalyptic fiction coming
out, especially in YA! The Road was one of the first such books I read. Then
The Hunger Games and it's a trilogy that made me a fan of the YA genre
equivalent. I'm now reading Divergent and looking forward to the next Justin
Cronin book:) I just can't seem to get enough!
There's just someth

Re: Snowball in Hell (1:27am April 8, 2011):

I notice my reading habits tend toward romance in whatever genre I choose,
whether historical fiction, young adult, sci-fi, fantasy, etc. This hasn't always
been the case but it's my current reader m.o. I enjoy Tracy Chevalier and Philippa
Gregory but lately have been more likely to read Julia Quinn or Jennifer Ashley :)

Re: Pay Up (12:48pm December 25, 2010):

I like all kinds of heroines, it just depends on my mood!lol If I'm feeling a little hurt and dejected over a new breakup I tend to pick up novels with softer, possibly more sterotypical heroines because it feels safe and I know I'll get a HEA when I need it. But if I'm feeling cynical or like I hate dating I opt towards tougher heroines with more spice, lol It makes it easy to relate:)

Re: Sparks (2:54am December 4, 2010):

LOL! I love that he's a salamander,so unexpected and cute:)

Re: While Galileo Preys (4:16am November 10, 2010):

I'm glad that you can bring attention to such an important issue as domestic abuse. I just heard of ur series for 1st time on Borders Romance blog, and look forward to reading The First Wife and It Happened On Maple Street! I love hearing about serendipity in real life:) I hope to see a cool thing like that happen in my own one day too. Thanks for sharing Tara!

Re: Marked By The Moon (2:29am November 4, 2010):

I love the new breed of monsters in books: villains that have a heart and though they have a dark and twisty side( like a were), can still surprise you and actually be a hero in disguise:)
I still like the old-fashioned scary ones who kill anything in sight too, but only if balanced out with a hero/ine I can love/relate to. Otherwise if its just pure horror, that's not really my favorite genre, lol

Re: 'Twas the Night (11:51pm November 3, 2010):

how sweet of u:)
i've never heard of round robin style writing, what dos that mean? looking fwd 2 reading it!

Re: The Snow Globe (11:16pm November 3, 2010):

aw, I love snowglobes. And if there's a moment I wish I could capture in one, it would be one of those nights I spent in my old apt with my boyfriend watching late night tv, laughing and eating lots of snacks, lol
simple but really happy times:)

Re: Simply Irresistible (1:29am October 30, 2010):

Hi Jill! you're a new author to me but I've recently heard a lot of bloggers (whose opinions I trust) say some really awesome stuff about your books so I'm excited to check 'em out:)

@FreshFiction- I loved that excerpt of the book Shiver from the other day's pick/highlight and was able to pick up a copy today! I just needed to see what happens to Carrie at that haunted inn, lol
Happy Halloween :D

Re: Beautiful Darkness (8:26am October 27, 2010):

oh so many books I want! If only I could buy them all :)

Re: Sazerac Seduction (3:55am October 11, 2010):

I adore the name Remy! Mostly because when I was little I was in love with Gambit (aka Remy Lebeau) from the Xmen. But when I heard Sawyer (played by Josh Holloway on the show Lost) speak, his voice, witty barbs, and sexy self made me swoon! I love him and think he'd make the perfect Gambit:)

Re: Firelight (1:52am September 19, 2010):

Im reading Crank (book 1 in Fallout series) right now actually :)

Re: Tomb With A View (2:29am July 20, 2010):

I definitely believe ghosts or spirits exist; just last night I saw a show on CourtTV called "Haunting Evidence" and it was fascinating! It has a medium, psychic profiler, and paranormal investigator try to get information on cold cases through their paranoramal means, and it was both exciting & scary to see/hear what they found out!

Re: Succubus Shadows (1:53am July 10, 2010):

I LOVE the Succubus series and the Mercy Thompson series!
now I gotta make time for the Otherworld series; heard great things about it but have yet to get a chance to read it.

Re: A Certain Wolfish Charm (5:09am March 31, 2010):

I always want a HEA but am willing to wait for it. It's why I love a series! You get both just like in life but are also promised that the real ending will tie up all the loose ends for a HEA. As for the necessary ingredients, I need true love, respect, and some good drama, lol :) Can't wait to read "A Certain Wolfish Charm"!

Re: Truly, Madly (7:24pm March 3, 2010):

Heather- thanks for the honest answer, I'll keep hoping to get a moment like it, like so many ppl here described.
Lisa Darling- I'm taking ur advice: If I ever get that feeling I won't ignore it.

Re: Truly, Madly (4:23am March 3, 2010):

It always shocks me when people say things like, "I looked at him and I knew he was the man I was going to marry." Really? I'm not kidding, I really wanna know, did u know?? Cuz I've never been sure about anything, especially in matters of "romantic love" and I'm not sure if that makes me a cynic or not. But I always hope for it to exist. I just don't see any evidence except in books; but people always say don't believe what u see in movies so I figure it's the same for the stuff I read in books. It's nice to at least have the stories though :)
