Re: Her Forbidden Hero (10:34am June 20, 2012):

I appreciate the time and dedication authors put into research when
writing a book. And it shows in the end product. I may not know all of
the details or specifics of a certain era, job, or country, but you can be
certain I do know when something doesn't "smell" right. So, yes, authors
do have a bit of a responsibility do get it somewhat right, but not perfect.
After all, it is fiction.

Re: Under Fire (5:39pm May 11, 2012):

Catherine,
Thank you and your husband for your great service to our
Nation. The behind the scenes special person in my life is
my husband of 32 years. We met while both active duty USMC;
were told it would never last. Hah! I don't know what I'd
do without him.

Re: Kiss Of The Goblin Prince (5:34pm May 11, 2012):

I was wondering about the wings. Nice spin; adds so much more
to the story.

Re: The Vampire Shrink (3:09pm April 27, 2012):

I haven't had any encounters with ghosts during my waking hours. But I have dreams that are so vivid of loved ones that have passed that I call them visits.

Re: Enraptured (2:44pm April 26, 2012):

ITA about a good villain making or breaking a story and
sometimes they are more memorable than the hero/heroine.

One of my favorite villains, from X-Men, Magneto. Just love
him! And this is before any movies were made, I read comic
books!

The Eternal Guardian series is fantastic!

Re: Fever (6:31pm January 25, 2012):

Here lately my goal setting techniques are nil. I've been
in a slump, so until I get desperate - ARGHHH - who knows.
Although I know I'll never let myself reach that point.

Joan, I immediately put FEVER on The List when I started
hearing about it. I want this book. Oh, and excuse me,
your critique partner is none other that the uber wonderful
Elisabeth Naughton? She who pens the fabulous and fearsome
Eternal Guardians. I am impressed. Yep, you are one to be
watched.

Re: Sins Of The Highlander (4:21pm January 12, 2012):

Loved that sneak peak - she was his prisoner, not his
sweetheart. My must have trait in a hero is integrity. If he
says he's going to do something, he better do it: Honesty.
And that just goes along with tall, dark and a bit handsome
with some brute strength added in.

Re: Shield of Fire (12:53pm December 9, 2011):

Four year old boys like trains!

Re: Hunter Of Shadows (10:01am December 2, 2011):

All of what you mentioned is what makes a book such an
excellent read. And that goes for movies also. BLOOD LAW by
Karin Tabke is one that comes to mind. The ending just blew
me away. And the movie KILLER ELITE had those famous twists
that keep a movie interesting. It wasn't just a kick-a$$,
take names action/adventure flick.

If the book covers and blurbs didn't draw me in, the Tease,
Twist, Cliffhanger and Shocker did!

Re: Hot Zone (6:26pm December 1, 2011):

What a great picture!

I would like Bubbles with that long brooding stare!

Re: The Storm That Is Sterling (3:44pm November 22, 2011):

Thank you for the Sterlingisms - especially that last one!

One of my favorite tormented heroes is Lestat de Lioncourt
from Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles. I know not your
typical romance hero, but still tormented all the same.

A favorite way to spend Thanksgiving, other than with what
family and friends are available, is watching the Detroit
Lion game. And must listen to Alice's Restaurant at 12
noon!

Re: Fortune's Son (8:15pm November 18, 2011):

A great interview with Philip. Even if he may be, somewhat,
of a reformed rogue.

Re: Embrace The Highland Warrior (5:24pm November 1, 2011):

What I fear during the night is waking up and having to use
the facilities or need to wet my whistle. And then stepping
on a spider - barefoot. Yuck!

Re: Ecstasy Untamed (7:52pm October 26, 2011):

I love going to the theater, and Captain America would have to
fit that bill.

Re: Chosen By Fate (4:22pm October 9, 2011):

John Grisham - who's he? Never read one of his books. Not
something I'm interested in. Now, give me a book that
overlaps genres, has me twisty, turny, with some heat. Yep,
that I'm reading!

Re: Wilder (11:57am October 7, 2011):

Wonderful excerpt. Not many settings in Africa nor woman
hunters. Count me in!

Re: The Goblin King (6:22pm October 6, 2011):

What inspires me? That beautiful cover featuring Paul Marron
- WHOA!!!! Yep, I'm feeling all kinds of inspired.
Seriously, I never would have thought goblins could be
romantic but this sure has changed my mind!

Re: The Norse King's Daughter (7:06am September 29, 2011):

I don't like those either! I usually go to the library or
just grab a random book from the pile. I have discovered new
authors that way too! Hmm, one was Sandra Hill come to think
of it. LOL!

Re: Tempted (12:31pm September 16, 2011):

This series is awesome! I love Greek mythology and the way
Ms. Naughton incorporates it in the Eternal Guardian books
rocks.

The most recent non-traditional damsel in distress would be
Rapunzel from TANGLED. Just watched it with my Grandson -
what a fun movie!

Re: Too Hot To Touch (6:41pm August 3, 2011):

My first crush was one of the "bad boys" that ran around in the neighborhood. He never even gave me a second thought much less a glance. He moved away to Arizona. I wonder what happened to him.

Re: Touch If You Dare (6:06pm July 21, 2011):

He can do my hair. That did it! Bring it on Big Boy! I have what beauticians consider long hair and I have never learned what to do with it. So, it is either up in a clip or board straight.

Here lately I haven't read a hero that I've adored. Hmmm. Looks like Jarvis Swain has arrived just in time!

Re: In The Heat Of The Bite (4:42pm July 19, 2011):

Hi Ladies, I have seen a bit about this series and now I just know I will fall in love with it. Two of my most favs rolled in to one! One of my favorite secondary characters in a series did get his own novel and it is brilliant. He is Armand, from the novel of the same name, of Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles.

Re: Just One Season In London (6:40pm July 11, 2011):

This book sounds so interesting. The intertwining of one family for one season. I am putting this one the TBR.

Re: Runestone (6:10pm July 9, 2011):

The usual: biceps, butt, honesty, smile. What I can't get past though is bad hygiene. Yuck! Don't get me started.....

Re: Night Veil (5:41pm June 27, 2011):

Batman, always, Batman. I was always drawn to his darker side; his toys; his leather; his humanity; his millions. Yep, Batman.

Re: Burning Skies (11:28am June 24, 2011):

I'm still trying to get over the "new ways to enhance all sorts of *ahem* physical experiences." That phrase just leads me to all kinds of conclusions!

The first thing I though of if I had wings....to soar over a majestic body of water that is surrounded by a bountiful forest of greenery.

Re: The Soldier (4:39pm June 2, 2011):

I would be lost without my family. Hubs is the closest friend. My two daughters have provided me with six grands; 3 of each. Any kin on my side of the family are long gone or just don't care anymore. I gues that is what happens when a person lives many, many miles away from their place of birth.

Re: Wickedly Charming (9:12pm May 16, 2011):

HA! Prince Charming and the evil Step-Mother. Quite right - starcrossed lovers. What a brilliant idea. I too have my own Charming!

Re: Love Drunk Cowboy (9:17pm May 4, 2011):

I wear heels when necessary. When it's called for. But it wouldn't take but a soft wisp of wind for me to give them up for cowboy boots! Will the hunk-o-burning-love cowboy come with them?

A great start to a new series. I can't wait!

Re: The Legend Of Michael (6:26pm May 2, 2011):

Oh Man! This series looks so good.

A perfect hero is alpha to the core, but with a heart of gold which doesn't show very often. He is loyal, protective, and giving. He will always come to the aid of his friends. Most of all, he knows how to satisfy his woman!

Re: Bastian (9:06pm May 1, 2011):

What a wonderful excerpt. Thank you for that.

No, I've never had any types of those relationships. However, I have been very fortunate to find my one true love. We celebrated 31 years together this year!

Re: Total Abandon (11:35am April 30, 2011):

I'm still a print girl at heart. Especially when the digital version is the same cost as the print. But with the explosion of the digital market, I am finding some excellent talent that I would not have otherwise.

Plus, I love well designed book covers. You can't put a digital with a great cover on a bookshelf to leer at! LOL!

Re: My Favorite Countess (5:11pm April 28, 2011):

My favorite doctor would have to be Eidolon from PLEASURE UNBOUND, Book 1 of Larissa Ione's Demonica Series.

Re: The Alchemy of Desire (10:46pm April 25, 2011):

It's usually the "man whore" alpha hero. I have read others, but, once again, it all depends on the author. Because, believe me, some of those betas are horrendous!

Re: Hidden Embers (12:01pm April 22, 2011):

I love them all! Each one has it's own unique beauty to offer. The quite solitude of winter offers up a time for reflection. The returning life of spring brings hope. Summer is full of action as everything is a-buzz with activity. And fall, when it's time to settle down, take stock of yourself.

Yep, I love them all!

Re: Blood Sin (11:41pm April 21, 2011):

Not only does the novel sound wonderful. You were very fortunate with the art department and the cover!

Re: Vowed In Shadows (11:28am April 11, 2011):

That is a very hard question to answer. There are so many strong, independent heroines that I wouldn't mind being. I guess it would depend on the Hero! *wagging eyebrows*

Re: Snowball in Hell (9:54pm April 7, 2011):

I have always been a fan of historical fiction - what an easy and entertaining way to learn. Josh, I've heard nothing but good things about SNOWBALL IN HELL. I know I won't be disappointed. HIS FOR THE HOLIDAYS rocked! BTW, nice to see you here!

Re: The Shadow Guard (7:55pm April 5, 2011):

Just one? Since I have to choose - it would be Jack Cole from Shayla Black's WICKED TIES. The opening sentence from that book....well now!

Re: Rock Hard (2:04pm April 4, 2011):

I have heard so much (ALL GOOD) about this series. I finally purchased a copy of BACKSTAGE PASS and it is next on the reading list. I would love to win ROCK HARD!!

Re: Play Me (11:58am March 29, 2011):

The language of the bedroom all depends on the characters. As long as it is within the scope of the story and the characters would use it, then I'm fine with it. Profanity in the bedroom does happen and it doesn't bother me. What really bothers me is the feeling of a disconnect between the H/h. That is a big turnoff!

Re: A Lot Like Love (12:23pm March 24, 2011):

Oh yes, definitely a slow burn that explodes. I don't need anything to pair with a good book. After raising children that had to practice the french horn and violin, I've gotten to the point where I can tune out anything and anyone! Now DH picks his guitar. He's not bad, but there are days.........

Re: Highland Heat (3:03pm March 21, 2011):

It makes me wonder how Quinton got Deirdre out of the convent. Did he steal her away? Must read this love story.

Re: Tyler (10:28am March 17, 2011):

Hi *waving from Spartanburg, SC* Although I'm a transplant from Detroit with roots in Hungary. My great grandparents immigrated from Hungary and I still have family there that I was privilege to meet a few years ago. We now communicate via Facebook.

An actual cowboy as a dancer - I like this! I have got to see how Emily and Tyler's story plays out.

Re: It Happened One Bite (2:51pm March 14, 2011):

IT HAPPENED ONE BITE sounds deliciously wicked with a bit of humor thrown in. Congratulations on your new release. I would have never guessed this was a writing team - brilliant!

Re: A Taste of Seduction (9:53am March 11, 2011):

Three surgeries in six weeks! Liver and greens; yes, Mom does know best. All I can say is "Thank You" for giving us Anthony Weston during a most trying time during your life. The strength it took tells its own tale.

Re: What I Did For A Duke (9:54am March 10, 2011):

Honestly, I have no idea what the name of the spider is. But hot damn! I have got to read this book. Well done!

Re: Taste Me (4:27pm March 9, 2011):

I have always loved the vampire genre since the B&W days of Bela Lugosi, but it was Anne Rice who set the bar for me. Her Vampire Chronicles set the benchmark and the Brat Prince Lestat is on my Top Ten List.

When I first read Marion Zimmer Bradley, yes, when it was first released, I was blown away. A completely different POV of a story that I loved.

Little did I know that the required English Lit in HS would lead to a love of the romance genre starting with Greek Mythology.

TASTE ME is going on the TBR! Sounds wonderful!

Re: Animal Magnetism (10:19am March 5, 2011):

I've always heard that THE place to meet a person was the grocery store! I need to look closer the next time I go for groceries!

ANIMAL MAGNETISM sounds wonderful!

Re: Scandal of the Year (10:33am March 4, 2011):

It's great that theheroines try new, wicked things. It makes the heros squirm. LOL!

Re: Treasure Me (9:31am March 3, 2011):

I'm a reader, and yes, I do enjoy the inside peaks of an author's life. I had no idea how rewarding and punishing writing could be. Well, the punishing part, yes. I admire an author because just writing this little bit is a struggle for me.

Re: Outcast Mine (9:45pm February 17, 2011):

Thank you for that wonderful excerpt. I have always wondered how two author work together to write. I imagine those brilliant minds struggling for control.

One of my biggest challenges that moved me well beyond my comfort zone. But I did it - I became a US Marine!

Re: Breaking the Rules (6:52pm February 12, 2011):

Oh, there are a variety of concoctions, alcoholic and non-alcoholic alike that I can think of that I will be consuming this weekend. Especially with the unofficial start of NASCAR season beginning with the BUD Shootout! But I will most likely add some Bailey's to my decaf.

I have tried Sex on the Beach. And the drink also. LOL! It's your run of the mill fruity, icy, fru-fru drink. I tend to stick with a good draft beer and Patron Silver.

Tawny, congrats on your new release. I've been trying to win a copy. Now, I'm begging........pretty please....on my knees........I know how well those enlisted men can get it done. I married one -- a Marine!

Re: Society's Most Disreputable Gentleman (4:34pm February 9, 2011):

Oh yes I do like reading about Bad Boys! No, they can't be tamed. The right woman may be to get a handle on them, but not tame them. That would be a shame.

Of course, I married "more reliable" in real life. But let me tell you. He is alpha through and through. No beta in this one. :)

I want this book------BADLY!!! Okay, now I'll beg.

Re: Everyone Loves A Hero (9:42am February 2, 2011):

Oh, this one I WANT. Just the cover alone calls to me...what was the question. The hero thing.

Yes, I've had a few moments. One my hubs likes to talk about, but I never gave it a second thought; I just acted. Long story -- short. We were in a parking lot of a fast food restaurant one evening, young mother not paying attention to her toddler (she was talking on her cell phone), child ran out into the parking lot, I grabbed the kid, returned to mother with a dose of My Motherly Advice. Yes, I ran out into traffic, but the child was safe. Mother could have used a good thrashing though.

Re: Burning Darkness (10:39am January 31, 2011):

An unforgivable act would be against children, rape, abuse of a partner. Those are the first things that come to mind.

This cover is so yummy!

Re: Immortal Champion (4:24pm January 27, 2011):

Why do I read romance? It's like that old Calgon commercial from long ago.

"Romance, take me away...."

It takes me to places I would never would venture otherwise.

*sigh*

Re: Deadly Heat (12:35pm January 22, 2011):

The book has to have heat. Not necessarily sex-on-end, but the passion that burns between the characters. I don't usually enjoy humor; a touch here and there -- okay. Give me dark, edgy; yeah, that's me. Love your work Cynthia!

Re: Ten Ruby Trick (10:14pm January 20, 2011):

@Brenda Rupp -- Dahling, Every Woman should know who the Beautiful Man is....drumroll please...the one, the only, Mr. Gorgeous himself, Gerard Butler!

I just love Mal Reynolds! Have FIREFLY and SERENITY on DVD.

Which reminds me of another swoon worthy sci-fi rogue: John Crichton (aka Ben Browder), FARSCAPE. RAWR!

Re: Pleasure Me (1:41pm January 14, 2011):

The most pleasure aspect of reading a romance is the emotion the author can evoke in me through the written word while still attaining the HEA. No matter what that emotion may be: passion, hate, suspicion, anger, love, kindness, violence, silliness, hunger, etc. I want to feel what the characters feel; be a part of them.

Ms. Burns, I do agree with you. A title can hold so much weight. Many times just a title of a book alone has caught my attention to investigate it further.

I look forward to PLEASURE ME so very much.

Re: Wicked Seduction (6:27pm January 11, 2011):

I don't suffer from Deadline Psychos, but I do tend to procrastinate; well, sometimes, occasionally, maybe. Yes, I do. Then it's the OSM -- what have I done. Or didn't do?!? Same thing, but just different situations. *head desk*

Re: Pay Up (9:13am December 23, 2010):

Oh boy! I just recently finished reading a new release where the heroine was "A Total B"! She was hateful to everyone including the hero. I felt so sorry for him. No matter what he tried to do or say, she would rip him a new one. No wonder he sniped back at her. She even treated her friends the same way. But, I did finish the book because it is part of a series that I enjoy. I'm hoping the next one is better.

I want the heroine to have some backbone, to know what she wants, to but also be vulnerable.

Re: The Irish Warrior (9:11pm December 21, 2010):

One of my favorite quotes:

"He wanted to give her another word to say, something like luscious or whisper or strawberry. Hell, antidisestablishmentarianism would do it.
Rhage from LOVER ETERNAL by J.R. Ward

So yummy!

Re: The Heir (10:15am December 16, 2010):

My mom wouldn't let me have a night light growing up.

I have one now!

Would really like to win this one.

Re: Icecapade (10:54am December 13, 2010):

Sad, sad. That Noel is so lonely each New Year's Eve he has to get drunk to call his one and only love: Just to leave a message.

This sounds absolutely wonderful.

Re: Twins Under His Tree (12:05pm December 2, 2010):

When I saw this, I knew I just had to read the post because it hit so close to home. My husband and I are both USMC veterans, but what makes it even more so: My daughter is due to give birth (December 21) to twin boys. She is married to a National Guard war veteran who has served in both the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars. Their other son was born Dec. 23, 2006, and my SIL was deployed two weeks later.

Yep, this one will be a must read for me.

Re: Second Chances (11:10am November 30, 2010):

Second chances in romance can be "The Ultimate" in bringing emotion to the forefront; especially when done well. The hero and heroine have so much baggage they have to work through. Yes, one of my favorite type of romantic reads, no matter what sub-genre it may be put in to: suspense, paranormal, erotic, m/m, or historical.

A most excellent read of second chances that comes to mind is one I just finished: Sam and Zach from EDGE OF SIGHT by Roxanne St. Claire. A great beginning to a new series.

Re: Honky Tonk Christmas (10:34am November 19, 2010):

Speaking of country music...I would have to be thankful for my husband who introduced me to country music: 30 years ago!

I so want this series. Not only the covers, but the titles rock!

Re: The Devil She Knows (10:08pm November 6, 2010):

Unfortunately, I am unable to share my favorite childhood places with my family now. As I don't live where I grew up. But what I do share is my cooking heritage. All the yummy foods that were prepared, especially around each holiday. Those are memories that will never fade.

Re: An Accidental Seduction (10:12am October 28, 2010):

My Hero: My Husband of 30 years. He has taken care of me, loved me, put up with me, and stood by me through thick and thin. Yes, everything those vows meant all those many long years ago.

Ms. Greiman, when I first saw this cover, I swooned! Who is this model? And do you know who the artist is? I'll admit, I do so want to win your book, but if not, to the bookstore I happily go!

Re: The Making of a Gentleman (4:13pm October 20, 2010):

Yes, I do like reading about topics that I am familiar with: gardening, cooking, baking, canning and preserving. But, I also, like to read the romance genres and US History!

Re: Highland Hellcat (11:20am October 15, 2010):

There are always a few things stocked for friends and relatives that stop by. My poison: Coke Cola. I don't drink many but nothing else will do. Not the competition, diet, store brand, etc. It has to be a Coke. Another is my Keurig ~~ HEAVEN! Of course, I always have on hand more than a handful of choices of coffee. And don't forget the old standbys: Jack, Jim, Crown, and Patron. LOL!

Re: Backstage Pass (8:34am October 14, 2010):

I don't have any cats or anything else I try to herd. But dayam, I sure do want to read your series. Thank you for the rock stars.

Re: Seducing The Duchess (3:35pm October 6, 2010):

I'm not ashamed to read romance because I have read some much better writing in the romance genre than in some of the other so-called respectable arenas. When I get that "look" or snide comments, I just let that person know they have no idea what they are missing!

Re: Building Magic (11:10am October 3, 2010):

I flip pancakes continuously! While I am not an author, I am a reader. I switch romance genres from romantic suspense to paranormal to erotica to historical to m/m and then all over again and in no particular order! Flipping and blending!

All of your work sounds right up my alley and what I need to check out.

Re: Sinful in Satin (9:32am October 1, 2010):

I'm 50/50 on dreams. Meaning, I dream 50% percent of the time, and I think, I remember them 50% of the time! I don't have any recurrent dreams, but I do dream in color. Whereas, I hear some people only dream in black and white. My favorite dreams are of loved ones who have passed away. My DH calls those "visits". The dreams I hate the most are the ones that are so emotional that I wake myself up crying. UGH! I haven't had any of those lately.

Re: When Wicked Craves (9:08am September 29, 2010):

Not only does this series sound so freaking fascinating; BRAVO, BRAVO on the covers. Beautiful!

That must have been one heck of a wake-up call to go from 1.5 acres to a cul-de-sac.

Re: Until Emie (10:54am September 28, 2010):

I find that any man who can use his hands SEXY! Why? Because that is the man who will always be able to provide for you. He is the one who can fix what goes wrong around the house, and he will always have a job.

Also, I find those type of men are the ones who are in uniform, cowboys, special forces/ops, etc. You get the picture . . .

BTW, my husband of 30 years: Former Marine who works in a rock quarry! Very, very SEXY!

Re: The Bride's Necklace (9:22pm September 27, 2010):

Covers tell a different story to whoever picks up the book.

I want the cover to reflect, in-part, something of what the book is about. If it features the hero and/or heroine, I'm hoping they at least look like them! An animated cover is a big turn-off, I'm not reading that; nope, no way, don't care what reviews it has gotten. Also, any cutesy/pet-like animals on covers. That tells me pets inside ~~ stay far away!

Come to think of it, most of my books feature some sort of person on them in one way or another!

Re: Love Me (12:34pm September 24, 2010):

Well, I don't have an e-reader, so it's all print for me. Which is fine and dandy because then I can stroke the cover when it's a hot male bod. LOL!

Honestly, it all depends on the actual cover. If I'm choosing between the two covers you are offering above; then, yes, I choose the cover of the couple. Now, if you would have offered me a different male torso or a different couple, who knows.

OMG YES! Please have the cover models in some way reflect the H/h. I just finished reading a new release where the hero was definitely blond. The cover model: brunette. Give me a break! Knock, knock...hello art department!!!

Re: Captured by Desire (7:25pm September 19, 2010):

I think commoners are just more interesting. They come from all different walks of life, with so many experiences to share. They are never boring! You never know what will happen or who you will run in to.

Thimblerigger - what a hoot! I love it!

Re: Wicked Highlander (10:59am September 18, 2010):

Greek mythology was always my first love, but since then it has expanded to include other forms as well. There are truths to the telling of the stories ~~ somewhere.

It does make one stop to ponder why Rome stopped.

Re: Burning Up (11:02am September 14, 2010):

No, I was the one reading multiple X genres for years. It wasn't until, maybe three years ago, I was introduced to romance.

I was browsing through my local bookstore looking for a specific series or two to start reading. I had more time on my hands now and could return to my first love: Reading. My interest in vampires had returned, and I had researched online several authors. Unfortunately, the store didn't have the first book I wanted. A woman, complete stranger mind you, struck up a conversation with me about the romance genre. She happened to have that book in her purse; her own used copy which she gladly parted with and gave to me!

I never got her name, but I will never forget her. She started me on the road to romance and it has been full speed ahead. Today my favorite romance genres are: paranormal, suspense, historical, m/m.

BTW, I'm a 52 y/o Grandmother who has a lot of reading catching-up to do.

And the book that started it all: Dark Lover by JR Ward.

Re: Rebel (10:15pm September 13, 2010):

I've read a few paranormal romances with fallen angels and just loved them. Unfortunately, nothing about an Apocalypse though. Your series sounds right up my alley. Chock full of what I love to read when it blends genres: dark and lovely!

Re: Just One Taste (5:35pm September 12, 2010):

I would love to go to a conference but none of them are held anywhere within a decent driving distance. My hubbie calls me a techie but you wouldn't know it because I don't have any of the latest gadgets. I am the one in the household that hooks everything up and gets it running and keeps it running!

My cell phone is just that: a phone. No flashy extras, just to make a call. I wouldn't have that if it weren't for DH. Everyone else has one now; if I have an emergency, I'll use there's. No e-reader either. I love my books! Give me books! I want to SEE and FEEL my books!

Re: Desperate Deeds (11:16pm September 8, 2010):

Romantic suspense is my favorite type of romance genre. Why? That type of alpha male has what it takes to get the job done. He doesn't have any "paranormal" abilities to help him. He protects his woman and treats her right.

I too grew up watching the spy/war/military television shows. What about the RAT Patrol? Loved it! These old programs can be found on the odd cable channels now.

And don't get me started on the films at the theater! No chick flicks for me! Give me action/adventure with hot, sweaty men. Have you seen The Expendables? AWESOME! Not enough romance, but then again, it did have Jason Statham!

Re: Warrior (3:41pm September 6, 2010):

I cannot wait to sink my teeth into this series. You have wrapped so many different elements into it, that it makes my head spin. Yummy!

Re: Atlantis Betrayed (12:06pm August 31, 2010):

First and foremost: Congratulations on your new release and continued success! This is behind you, so now, just bask in the glory.

Change is inevitable; it's going to happen. Yes, you most likely will forget something, but don't worry about it now. Talk about self-fulling prophecy! But, I'm just like that too. I worry about every little detail until I can't take it any longer, then I just throw my hands in the air and say, "The hell with it", because I can't change what is happening; only accept it and deal with it. Then I begin to look forward to a new adventure. Once that happens, you will be amazed at how the stress melts away and is replaced with anticipation for what is to come.

I wish you the best!

Re: Dark Warrior Untamed (5:44pm August 27, 2010):

Currently, my favorite warrior heroes that I am head-over heels in love with are the Eternal Guardians from Elisabeth Naughton's series. These guys are Argonauts: Theron from MARKED and Zander from ENTWINED. This series really intrigues me because it is wrapped around Greek Mythology: My first love in high school.

Re: Deadly Fear (5:36pm August 26, 2010):

When it comes to the "killers", I like getting into their minds; especially when they are well written. It makes the story so much more eerie! I've read quite a few where the killers have been just meh.

There is always something I can relate to in a paranormal. Because of the emotions that are involved.

DEADLY FEAR sounds just like my cup o' tea!

Re: Assassin's Heart (6:05pm August 24, 2010):

No, not interested in past lives or regression theraphy. And from reading yours, they all ended badly. YUCK! I'll stick with what I know ~~ the here and now.

Re: Nemesis (3:42pm August 21, 2010):

It finally cooled off a bit here (South Carolina) and now it is only in the high 80's for a few days. Mother Nature decided to grace us with sporadic rain for a week or so. Otherwise, once the calendar turned June, it was high 90's and no rain. Enjoying the clouds while they last!

Re: Whisper Kiss (12:48pm August 20, 2010):

Dragons as shifters are new to me, so this is all very exciting! The description of the senses is not only intriguing but also sensual. I can only imagine one of the Pyr whispering, or would that be a low rumble, sweet nothings in Old Speak in the Heroines ear. Gives me chills. Yep, have to get my hands on some Dragons!

Re: The Star Necklace (11:55am August 17, 2010):

No stories about public nudity to share.

Hell yes, women are voyeurs; they just won't admit it. (I proudly will.) At least not in the USA. This country hasn't caught up yet with the European countries when it comes to being comfortable with their own nudity. I, on the other hand, had to get used to it. When you're thrown together with a bunch of strangers in boot camp, nudity is the last thing on your mind. I found as I get older, I get wiser too.

Re: The 1st Wife (6:32pm August 9, 2010):

Can't say that I've met someone this week that changed my life or made a difference.

I must say, those four book covers are amazing!

Re: The Millionaire Meets His Match (10:04pm July 26, 2010):

I love this list! Especially #4. Although, he better not be too busy, or the wife may be watching the pool boy a bit too closely.

Re: Silent Truth (11:00am April 19, 2010):

Dianna, absolutely love your those BAD Agency novels!

Passion? Hmmmm. Well, after finally making the decision to quit the rat-race and stay at home to take care of my grandson, I found time for many of the things I had left behind: Reading, cooking, gardening, baking, firearms. But most of all, my passion for my dear husband of thirty years!

Re: Viking in Love (10:30am February 4, 2010):

What a coincidence! Just last week I picked-up a book that looked interesting. A new author I haven't read before and the storyline was one I liked. It wasn't long before I was immersed in a sexy, funny, wicked tale. This tome you ask? None other than, Down and Dirty, by Sandra Hill. I'm hooked!

Re: Possess Me At Midnight (11:28am October 22, 2009):

I most definitely enjoy your work but have not yet had the pleasure of experiencing your Doomsday Brethren paranormal romance series. Just reading your blog has given me a twitch! I have put these on my Birthday Wish List (which is next week). And if I do not receive, it will be Happy Birthday to myself!
