Re: The Body in Griffith Park (2:08pm July 20, 2019):

Yes, I think I'm a good match. Love historical mysteries.

Re: Stalked (9:28pm April 10, 2018):

The part of the writing process that interests me most is coming up with the initial idea. It seems like everything has been done before. Must be hard to come up with something fresh.

Re: A Family for the Rancher (8:39am February 9, 2018):

Love cowboys! Since I love horses, too, there's nothing sexier than a cowboy interacting with my favorite animal. Can't think of anything more romantic than going riding together.

Re: Beyond Danger (2:43pm February 4, 2018):

I think my best turn of the century party would be Prohibition themed. I could rent out one of those underground restaurants in NYC and set it up like a speak easy. Period music and costumes would be included. Lots of alcohol of course.

Re: The Lacemaker (7:19pm January 14, 2018):

I love going to Renaissance Fairs. I have a costume that I always wear that I call my wench dress. It's really fun to wear but uncomfortable in hot weather.

Re: Cowboy SEAL Homecoming (7:09pm January 14, 2018):

Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, Jean Claude Van Dam, Steven Segal and Bruce Willis. I'd invite this particular group because I'd love to hear stories about filming their action movies (and life in Hollywood in the 80's).

Re: Earl Interrupted (7:32pm January 7, 2018):

I like his first proposal. If someone called me the loveliest creature ever born, I'd say yes for sure.

Re: Heart on Fire (7:23pm January 7, 2018):

I'm passionate about animal rescue. Although the problem is overwhelming, it's very rewarding to even help one injured, abused or abandoned animal.

Re: Collision Course (10:07am January 7, 2018):

It sounds like he's not going to have to do much to win this lady over!

Re: Last Chance Cowboys: The Outlaw (3:45pm July 9, 2017):

Maxwell Smart in Get Smart.

Re: Lord of Lies (3:42pm July 9, 2017):

The Cold War was one of my favorite times in history to read about. I'll bet there were many American spies who risked their lives every day behind the Iron Curtain to keep us safe.

Re: Picture Perfect Wedding (10:50pm November 17, 2016):

Sounds like it would be a great book to read!

Re: How To Impress a Marquess (4:26pm November 13, 2016):

Love the Victorian era! Sounds like a great read.

Re: A Sure Thing (4:05pm November 13, 2016):

I love any kind of hot buttery bread with coffee. English muffins, bagels, toast - love them all!

Re: Red Pen Redemption (3:51pm August 26, 2016):

I don't think I would ever dare God to do anything. That sounds like it would come from a place of anger. He's stood by me through many trials. However, I do ask Him for things. If it's in His plan, he grants my request. If not, then I'll just have to live my life according to His wishes.

Re: Break Every Chain (3:42pm August 26, 2016):

I think most best selling books today are blended genres. Books are always better when they have a lot of layers.

Re: Every Time with a Highlander (5:59pm August 14, 2016):

My perfect weekend is going into NYC to see a Broadway show and have dinner at a steakhouse. Love Broadway!

Re: Viking Warrior Rising (5:56pm August 14, 2016):

Congratulations Asa Maria! You should have at least one adult beverage to celebrate.

Re: A Promise of Fire (5:54pm August 14, 2016):

I always cry at the end of romance novels when the hero and heroine finally get together and live happily ever after. I think all stories should end with happily ever after.

Re: Heart Strike (5:48pm August 14, 2016):

My favorite weekend would be going to see a well known band live at the beach. Atlantic City is doing just that this summer and it's awesome.

Re: For Love or Money (4:53pm August 14, 2016):

My husband brings me joy. He's loved me unconditionally for over 30 years. He's been a real blessing in my life.

Re: A Gift for Guile (6:11pm July 10, 2016):

I'd have to say Sherlock Holmes. He's certainly not the marrying kind but I think he'd make a really fun boyfriend.

Re: Billionaire in Wolf's Clothing (5:50pm July 10, 2016):

Hot and loves classic cars? That's all I care about. He sounds perfect to me!

Re: Lark (5:36pm July 10, 2016):

I recently set up a birdhouse next to my bedroom window. There are so many birds coming in and out that I could watch it for an hour. I've started taking pictures of the birds I see and looking them up online so I guess I'm officially obsessed!

Re: Love Walks In (1:57pm April 16, 2016):

I'd like to try hot air ballooning. It seems pretty scary but I'll bet it's great.

Re: The Lingering Grace (3:06pm March 19, 2016):

Yes, but I like to think the happy ending holds. The Pollyanna in me likes to believe that ultimately everything has a happy ending.

Re: The Real Thing (3:02pm March 19, 2016):

My husband is my hero. No matter how hard times get, he always has faith that we're strong enough to get through.

Re: Romancing the Ranger (2:30pm March 19, 2016):

Music motivates me to lose weight and stay healthy. When I come home from work all stressed out, I pop one of my favorite aerobic workouts in the dvd player and dance around for an hour. I feel great after that!

Re: Miriam (2:22pm March 19, 2016):

My mother was a Miriam. She rose above many challenges in her life - 3 miscarriages before I was born, married to a double amputee who lost his legs on Anzio Beach, and successfully fighting cancer twice (unfortunately she lost the third battle).

Re: MacLaren's Bride (2:10pm March 6, 2016):

When I dream about another time and place, I always think of the Renaissance. Love everything about it. It's probably because I love going to Renaissance Faires. I attend every single one on the East Coast each year. It's a great escape for a day.

Re: Divorced, Desperate, and Daring (3:58pm December 24, 2015):

Since most people are on their cell phones a good part of the day, I would figure out a way to overheat the lithium battery so it catches on fire at some point during the day. Most people carry their cell phones in their pockets so, if the fire was high enough, it would probably set them on fire and burn them to death.

Re: Justified (3:20pm December 24, 2015):

Strawberry shortcake! My grandmother used to make a delicious strawberry shortcake every Christmas. She made it extra festive by piping green sugar wreaths all over the shortcake. I sure miss that shortcake.

Re: Easton's Everything (1:22pm November 18, 2015):

Standalone. I like to know how everything turns out before I can move on to the next story.

Re: Murder Under the Mistletoe (1:12pm November 18, 2015):

Playing with my dog is the best stress reliever I can think of.

Re: Dark Turns (1:00pm November 18, 2015):

Yes, I went back to school at age 50. I had been out of school for 30 years so it was like visiting a foreign land.

Re: Once Upon a Power Play (12:03pm November 18, 2015):

Love David Beckham (so I guess I love soccer too).

Re: Hidden Impact (3:59pm November 14, 2015):

My grandfather always made homemade wine that he served on special occasions. It was amazing!

Re: Dangerous Tidings (3:54pm November 14, 2015):

NYC!

Re: Smart, But Dead (1:44pm September 30, 2015):

I tend to be a Pollyanna (even when it goes against all logic). Some people call it denial, others call it annoying but most everyone calls it weird. From my point of view, I see everyone as depressingly negative. Oh well, I'll just go back to my happy place and let the rest of the world wring their hands.

Re: Flames (6:57pm September 26, 2015):

My faith keeps me going each day. It gives me the strength to carry on no matter what life throws at me.

Re: The Thorn Bearer (2:53pm August 30, 2015):

I'm a sucker for romantic comedies. I especially like when the couple hate each other when they first meet and then it turns to love.

Re: Food Baby (2:02pm August 30, 2015):

I actually don't like fruit but still try to eat at least some every day. My solution is to bury the fruit in something - whipped cream, chocolate, nuts, caramel, vanilla yogurt are some of my favorites.

Re: Immortal Matchmakers, Inc. (1:56pm August 30, 2015):

To be creative, first I have to relax. I do that by sitting in front of my aquarium and just watching the fish swim around.

Re: Newport (2:21pm August 23, 2015):

Love supernatural elements in stories. I like ones that are based on ancient lore best.

Re: Moments of Truth (1:12pm August 23, 2015):

Yes, sometimes I do go overboard with details. At some point, though, I usually say enough is enough and let's just get moving.
