Re: Dangerous Connections (1:51pm November 15, 2013):

I love all of your books, Terry, and can't wait to get my very
own copy of this one!

Re: Touch If You Dare (9:27pm July 21, 2011):

Very HOT cover. Those 10 reasons work for me!

Re: Under a Desert Sky (4:37pm June 19, 2011):

Happy ever after - working together to enjoy life and each other though the good and bad times; knowing when to give cuddles and hugs, laughing at the same dumb jokes - it's all the little stuff that creates happy ever after.

Re: It Happened On Maple Street (1:05pm May 19, 2011):

Hi Tara and Tim!

I was here earlier, but the post today touched me and I needed to step away. Thank you for taking the reader's question so seriously and continuing to think about it. I would imagine that the reader was satisfied with the response you provided, maybe still thinking about it and, like you, not really knowing how you could possible know. Lots of speculation. On behalf of those who aren't ready to walk through the door just yet, but now may be more aware that it can be done, that there is hope, that there are resources - thank you for taking the journey.

Hope all is well and no more trips to the ER!

Re: The Violets Of March (12:16pm May 14, 2011):

The Bungalow. Wishing you much success!

Re: Deadly Promises (12:01pm May 14, 2011):

I am extemely grateful, every day, that there are men and women who volunteer to serve their country to protect our freedom. And, yes, I think it was fitting that it was a SEAL team that was able to rid the world of this fanatic. I know there will be more terrorists, but for today, we can be thankful there is one less.

Re: The Color of Heaven (12:02pm May 3, 2011):

Congratulations on the success of The Color of Heaven! It is a wonderful love story. I've read it, loved it and did cry. A beautiful Mother's Day Gift.

Re: Heartache Falls (7:28pm April 27, 2011):

Congratulations on release day for Heartache Falls. I loved the blurbs for each book and they've gone up a notch on the TBR list! We have a couple of cats that rule the roost.

Re: Cowboy Fever (4:26pm April 20, 2011):

How wonderful that you were able to raise awareness and raise money for CTEC while celebrating the release and launch party - sounds like a win-win for for everyone involved!! Congratulations!!!

Re: It Happened On Maple Street (10:50am April 19, 2011):

Once again, a great post. You and Tim have done an amazing job with original blog posts each day - thanks for keeping it 'Fresh'! And, of course, thanks for sharing your story in a way that makes it easier for those who need help to get help.

Re: Deadly Ties (8:13pm April 15, 2011):

I've spent most of my life trying to do the right thing or being expected to do the right thing and I've reached an age where I'm much more interested in doing what I want to do and the rest be hanged. I'm certainly having a lot more fun!

Vivki, I enjoyed your post and the subsequent comments. I'm looking forward to reading Deadly Ties.

Re: The Shadow Guard (11:34pm April 5, 2011):

A little off the wall perhaps, but I would like to meet Bishop from Kay Hooper's Special Crimes Unit series and Dillon Savich from Catherine Coulter's FBI series. Great post - thanks for sharing. Really looking forward to reading The Shadow Guard!!

Re: Rock Hard (12:31pm April 4, 2011):

WOW - sounds like a really good read! Will be checking your website to find out more about you and your books. Thanks for the chance to win.

Re: Angel's Verdict (12:25pm April 4, 2011):

I loved reading your post and found it very interesting. I do believe in angels and I love mysteries. I have not read your books before, either, bu I'm hoping to change that today!

Re: The Return Of Black Douglas (12:17pm April 1, 2011):

You have certainly given us an insight into the amount of research authors put into their work - really amazing! I found this very interesting and will - quite frankly - have to read it a couple of times to really understand. I'm supposed to be part Scot and that has taken on a new meaning now; think I might need to do some research! Thank you. I love the cover and have added The Return of Black Douglas to my TBR list!

Re: Mimosas, Mischief, and Murder (10:36pm March 31, 2011):

I've moved 15 times in my life - that I remember. I've been in this home/location for 7 years and I'm hoping this is the last move! Like Sara, my books always went with me and since the library kept growing, there were lots of boxes. This past year I bought a Nook so I could travel without lugging so many books; what a joy it is! I have to admit that I have not read your books, but now that you are on my radar ....

Re: Play Me (2:00pm March 29, 2011):

I like love/sex scenes to be hot, hot, hot. There are things that can pull me out of the moment or are 'ick' factors and usually relate to something that is out of context with what is happening in the story or appears to be totally out of character.

I enjoyed your post and the book excerpt - can't wait to read Play Me.

Re: Yukon Wedding (3:18pm March 28, 2011):

No one would trust me to hide anything; I'm known for putting things in safe places and never finding them again!!!

Re: Texas Blue (2:42pm March 28, 2011):

I loved your post - thanks for sharing your thoughts and for providing so much entertainment with your books.

Re: A Lot Like Love (12:28pm March 25, 2011):

I like the slow burn approach the best. I can read through most anything, so I'd pair a good book with a nice glass of wine.

Congratulations on the early second printing; hope you have continued success.

Thanks for the opportunity to win your book!

Re: Hummingbird Lake (4:56pm March 22, 2011):

I have never bought a book based on an author's self promotion. I had my favorite authors and generally followed them. I recently retired and now have the time to research author websites, read their newsletters and blogs - learning so much. So, being more exposed to my favorite authors (and others), I may now buy a book based on an author's self promotion.

I'm thinking that, regardless of the reader's review, you should go for the pan of brownies. With nuts. They're good for all occasions, not just to lift the spirits!

Congratulations on Hummingbird Lake's birth; hope you have tons of success. Looking forward to reading this series. And, I think that your newsletter emails are effective!!

Re: Dead on Delivery (12:17pm March 17, 2011):

I always find it interesting when an author explains their writing process and how the characters or story rules. Thanks for sharing!

Re: So Close The Hand Of Death (3:09pm March 15, 2011):

If my family was in jeopardy, I hope I would be strong enough and brave enough to do what is necessary to make them safe. I would fight dirty if that was what it took. For a number of reasons I have always been the peace maker, avoiding confrontation all costs. All bets are off if you go after my family.

A couple of years ago, I came across one of your books (sorry, I don't remember which one). I liked it so much that I promptly went out and bought everything else you had written. I continue to be a fan and just bought So Close The Hand of Death.

I wish you continued success so we all can enjoy your wonderful books!

Re: Angel's Rest (3:16pm March 13, 2011):

I love that you've been able to reinvent yourself and that we can still share your talent for writing. I'm looking forward to reading your new series. I recently retired and I'm still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up!! Congratulations and best wishes for continued success.

Re: Scandal of the Year (10:06am March 4, 2011):

I love it when the Twist shows up and takes me someplace I hadn't expected! Look forward to reading your books.

Re: Treasure Me (10:49pm March 3, 2011):

I need a good beginning in a book. I want to be drawn in quickly. If it's only a so-so beginning, I'll struggle through, hoping it gets better; sometimes I get lucky and it does. This beginning is terrific, I love it, and can't wait to read the book. And I do like getting insights to the difficulties a writer experiences. Thank you for going through all that angst to give us your wonderful books!!

Re: Wicked Seduction (9:36pm March 2, 2011):

I don't think you are crazy or possessed - I think you are blessed. Blessed with a wonderful imagination and immense creativity. And we are the recipients of those blessings. Needless to say, I enjoy your books. Thank you.

Re: Against the Law (2:11am March 2, 2011):

I'm a Kat Martin fan, although not big on historicals. Next on my To Buy List is the Raines Brothers Trilogy - I am really looking forward to reading these books. Congratulations on making the Times printed list - I can see you doing the happy dance!!!

Re: Operation Forbidden (1:26am February 27, 2011):

I love your military romance stories and the strong men and women you create. Looking forward to reading your new book. Enjoyed your blog on Afganistan and lapis lazuli. Thank you!

Re: Faking It (2:55pm February 21, 2011):

I agree with Peggy in that your blog is deeper than most. It also left me feeling a bit inadequate, but maybe I'm just not used to that level of rhetoric.

Re: Bitten in the Bayou (10:42am February 21, 2011):

Sleepless in Seattle, You've Got Mail, Pretty Woman are definite winners. How about going back (just a few years) to the Doris Day movies - The Pajama Game, That Touch of Mink, Lover Come Back (there's a long list) - really funny movies. And I have read your book and enjoyed it.

Re: Beneath The Night Tree (4:08pm February 18, 2011):

I love reading the books that give us love, romance and happily ever after (what does happily ever after really mean?) because these books let me escape.

I'm in a long term relationship where I know I'm loved. He's not a romantic man (don't get flowers or trinkets, etc.), but he makes sure I have everything I need. There can be romance in the practical, right??

Re: Outcast Mine (9:12pm February 17, 2011):

I moved out of my comfort zone when I moved from the northeast to Texas without knowing anyone or having a job. I like to think I was courageous rather than crazy! So far, it's working out. Outcast Mine sounds like a good read, made more interesting by knowing how it was created.

Re: RiverTime (4:06pm February 16, 2011):

Looking forward to reading your debut novel (best wishes for much success) it sounds really interesting. I've read to escape for a long time and for various reasons. Thanks to authors like you who provide such good material to take me away!

Re: Lucky Stiff (11:54pm February 15, 2011):

I am so thankful for 'Serially Crazy' writers! Being able to escape my reality and live with new people and places for awhile is why I read. Thanks for creating a place where I can go, even for just a short time ....

Re: Love Me If You Dare (12:20pm February 15, 2011):

My husband made me breakfast this morning, including 2 heart-shaped pancakes! I sent e-cards to friends and family to let them know that I was thinking about them.

I make a point of sending alot of e-cards for holidays and for no reason at all - I just want them to know I care and think about them often. With all of life's stressors, an e-card can really make someone's day a whole lot better.

Re: Everyone Loves A Hero (5:06pm February 2, 2011):

I have not yet had a 'hero' moment - I do hope I get the opportunity to be one! I've enjoyed reading Marie's story as well as all the comments - some definite heroes there. And I agree that all our men and women in the military, in the police and fire departments are true heroes - I stand in awe of their courage. I also think there are many heroes in the medical profession, too. Marie, thanks for bringing them to life for us.

Re: The Irish Princess (12:05pm February 2, 2011):

I've read your contemporary novels and I'm a fan! I don't normally read historical romances, but I am definitely interested in reading The Irish Princess. Thanks!

Re: The Werewolf Upstairs (9:57pm January 28, 2011):

I learned the joy of reading at a young age. When you read, you are no longer lonely or alone. Thanks to authors, you can be scared spitless or be hopelessly in love; you can bask in the sunshine on the beach or freeze your butt off in the artic. You can forget a bad day when you get lost in a book; you can forget to fix dinner because you were so absorbed in that story, and you can still be awake at 3:00 AM because the story pulled you in and you just couldn't put it down! No matter what, thanks to authors, you can be entertained. Thanks to all of you for what you do.

Re: Eternal Prey (3:41pm January 26, 2011):

I agree with Valerie - I'm in love with the hero in the book I'm currently reading, even if he's a bit difficult at times. I love Roarke, too, along with the heroes in books by Katherine Shay, Tara Janzen, Catherine Mann, and so on. I read your books, too, Nina and thoroughly enjoy them/your heroes. So many books, so little money!! Offers such as yours really help. Thank you.

Re: The Best Laid Plans (7:37pm January 22, 2011):

Sienna Post is her best friend.

Re: Deadly Identity (9:12pm December 30, 2010):

I really enjoyed reading this blog about how you taught your classes; very enlightening. I am so thankful for those of you who can write and capture our imaginations and our hearts. Thank you.
