Abby Knight has already flunked out of college and suffered
a broken engagement, so adding another failure to the list,
losing her fledgling flower shop, Bloomers, is not an
option. She'll do anything, including taking on the floral
contract for the wedding of her pampered and selfish, yet
very wealthy cousin, Jillian. She's even agreed to be one
of Jillian's bridesmaids. But putting up with all Jillian's
childish antics will be easy compared to the matter of
finding out who killed one of the groomsmen. And she must
find out. If there's no wedding, there will be no need for
flowers. And no flowers means Abby is just that much closer
to losing her shop.
Abby isn't new to sleuthing. It's gotten her into trouble
before. And even though she's promised to stop "meddling,"
some things just need to be investigated. This time,
however, she may have taken on far more than she bargained
for as the murderer tricks Abby into playing a deadly game.
This is the second book in the Flower Shop Mystery series
and what a delight! Ms. Collins has a flair for engaging
characters and witty dialogue. Try as you might, you won't
guess the outcome, nor does the murderer tip a hand until
the very end. Loved the flower shop setting and the first-
person style of writing.
Law school drop-out-turned-flower shop owner Abby Knight
has been asked to be a bridesmaid by her cousin. But before
the couple says "I do," a groomsman disappears-and another
member of the wedding party is found dead. Abby has to
hurry down an aisle of suspects to unveil the truth-and
make sure the bride still gets to the church on time.
