Hannah Geary is out for blood, determined to catch a rogue
SEAL commander who had her partner killed and left her in a
Cuban prison. When she's rescued from the prison by SEAL
Team Twelve -- primarily Luther Lindstrom -- she knows they
can help her get revenge.
Luther isn't interested in starting a relationship with
anyone, but he's mighty intrigued by Hannah. Her fiery
resolution is appealing, not to mention her unconscious sex
appeal. But while he will help her with this mission, he
just got away from a fiancée and doesn't plan on getting
involved.
As the two fight their way through the scant evidence to
find the criminal lurking behind the craziness, all their
resolutions begin to disappear. Hannah has focused for
years on becoming a case officer and working overseas -- and
suddenly, that dream seems less and less important. Luther
begins to understand that there are women who can be
trusted. But will they survive long enough to explore their
feelings?
Ms. Melton writes a well-plotted SEAL story (and as I've
said before and don't hesitate to repeat, how can you lose
with SEALs?). I was introduced to many of these characters
in the first book and enjoyed the chance to get to know
them better. The characters are well-drawn and interesting.
A good action book.
Former NFL player, Luther Lindstrom, must rescue the missing
DIA analyst, Hannah Geary, whom the FBI has located in
Santiago de Cuba! Hannah is the only person with sufficient
evidence to indict the true villain—Commander Lovitt.
Liberating Hannah is the beginning of a perilous quest for
justice. The commander is protected by an all-powerful
being--The Individual--who will stop at nothing to make the
world what he wants it to be.
More threatening, still, is the passion that flares between
Hannah and Luther—a passion neither wants to acknowledge.
But IN THE DARK, passions run wild and love follows hot on
its heels, forcing two stubborn souls to admit that love has
changed their lives.
