Caroline Collier, forced to take a leave of absence from
work due to health reasons, returns to her family's home on
Lake Ophelia. The beauty and serenity of the lake she
craves is interrupted by the love/hate relationship
Caroline shares with her mother. They are also still

ago.

beautiful characters. Ms. White writes with passion and
sensitivity and keeps you intrigued with the many past
secrets as they're revealed in each chapter. This is
another excellent addition to my library.
