Lori Foster's DRIVEN TO
DISTRACTION begins a new series called Road to Love. A woman takes on a drive that
keeps you wondering whether their immediate and strong attraction will
win out over their professional side. Will their first impressions stay true
or will they come to find the love they both are looking for? Take a drive
along the highway of love to find out if they find their way to each
other.
Mary has come looking for Brodie to hire his transportation company to
pick up a package for her boss. Her first impressions are not positive.
Brodie doesn't like the way she's treating him, so he makes sure the
more obnoxious side of his personality shows. They must go together
to pick up the package and since they have to spend more time
together, their initial impressions begin to change. Mary is a complete
professional and Brodie tries to get her to loosen up. While doing this,
Brodie is completely smitten and wants to know all he can about Mary,
but she's closed off about her past. Nonetheless, they can't stop from
thinking about each other and take any opportunity they can to go on
more trips for work together...
One such trip takes them to a remote area, where the man Mary is
supposed to meet with tries to steal the money along with a valuable
artifact. Will Brodie be able to thwart this enemy and protect Mary?
DRIVEN TO DISTRACTION shows
how someone who works hard can overcome a less than ideal past.
With the love of a good person and determination, you can achieve
anything. I'm looking forward to the next book in the Road to Love series.
When desire gets this hot, you’d better buckle up… Mary Daniels doesn’t let anything get in the way of her job acquiring rare artifacts for her wealthy boss. But this particular obstacle—huge, hard-muscled, unashamedly masculine—is impossible to ignore. Stuck in a cramped car with Brodie Crews for hours en route to their new assignment, Mary feels her carefully crafted persona—and her trademark self-control—is slipping, and she won’t allow it. Brodie can’t imagine what secret in Mary’s past has left her so buttoned-up, though he’d dearly love to find out. Maybe then she’d trust him enough to explore their explosive chemistry. But he needs this job, so he’ll play by her rules and bide his time…until an enemy determined to outwit them strikes and he needs to get close—in every way—to protect her. Otherwise they could lose much more than a precious collectible. They could lose it all.
