Romance Paranormal | Romance Erotica Sensual

TIGER STRIPED is a Shifters Unbound novella by Jennifer Ashley, and the events in the story take place after MIDNIGHT WOLF. It's not necessary to have read every book in the Shifters Unbound series in order to enjoy TIGER STRIPED, but reading TIGER before reading TIGER STRIPED is important. TIGER introduces the supernatural hero of this story, and reading it first will give readers a better understanding of this phenomenal character.

Tiger is an extraordinary shifter with an uncanny sixth sense. Those close to him know to take him seriously when what he says takes on a prophetic quality. At this point in his life, Tiger has the things that are most important to him -- his mate Carly and his young cub. At the opening of TIGER, this shapeshifting hero gets an overwhelming feeling that something is not right in his world and he is single-minded and fierce in chasing where his instincts are leading him. What follows is an adrenaline- fueled road trip. Jennifer Ashley writes some amazing stories about characters on a quest, and TIGER is a fabulous example. Carly and their friend, and Tiger's fellow shifter, Connor go along for the ride and the danger that comes with it. These three characters make great traveling companions and an interesting mix to read about. Connor and Carly are a perfect combo of brains and brawn to back up Tiger -- even when it seems like he doesn't need it. Jennifer Ashley gives the main characters, as well as readers, a huge surprise in this story that will make waiting for the next book in this series almost unbearable. As is often the case in this series, humans are the villains pursuing and harassing the Shifter heroes.

TIGER STRIPED has a determined hero on a riveting rescue mission and a story full of surprises. It was nice seeing unofficial Shifter leader Dylan being a help rather than the slightly shady character he was in the previous book. I can't wait for Connor's book! I look forward to Jennifer Ashley's next Shifters Unbound book, as well as her next contemporary cowboy romance, and her next Mackenzies historical highlanders story.

SUMMARY

Tiger…

The call I must answer…

I wake in the night, knowing something is wrong. Carly, mate of my heart, is next to me, and I hear my son’s breathing. They are safe.

But someone, someone cries out with a despair I can’t ignore...

Carly won’t let me go alone, and neither will Connor, the cub who will become one of the greatest Shifters of us all—I know this. I see.

I can’t ignore the call. We take Dylan’s truck and head into the night, on what proves to be the most important mission of my life…
