To look at Black Knights Inc., a motorcycle shop in Chicago, you would never guess that it is actually home for an elite group of covert operatives. They are all deadly, dangerous and amazing, but they also make motorcycles that are BUILT TO LAST.

Jamin "Angel" Agassi is deep undercover, the kind that will either bring down a crime lord or get him killed. It is unfortunate or fortunate that when he should be concentrating on bringing the man down, he finds himself worrying more about Sonya Butler who is working for the same man that he believes to be the elusive "Spider." He knew her as an Interpol agent and the love of his life. The biggest challenge should be finding proof of the man's evil, not worrying that she will recognize him or that his heart is going to get in the way of doing his job.

BUILT TO LAST is sadly the end of the Black Knights, Inc. books, but, it is an amazing way to end this fascinating series. There are many secrets, deceptions, twists and turns that author Julie Ann Walker is very good at, as she carefully leads her readers to where she wants them. The characters in this series are always intriguing, and Angel and Sonya are no exception. They are both strong, determined and working undercover to bring down the bad guys in their own way. They have a past, and if the truth gets out, it might just endanger their future. Readers need not fear though because Ms. Walker knows how to make steamy that seemingly falls apart into a wonderful happily ever after.

The other team members are varied with some really fun personalities, that seem to blend and work well together. Who else would have an abrasive, sucker loving, female mechanic who seems to be the glue of the whole group? The whole series was a great getaway type of read. If you want edgy, fast-paced action, intrigue, suspense, a steamy romance, bad guys getting their just desserts and a team of amazing people that you will love, then get your hands on BUILT TO LAST.

Welcome to Black Knights Inc.

What appears to be a tricked-out motorcycle shop on the North Side of Chicago is actually headquarters for the world's most elite covert operatives. Deadly, dangerous, and determined, they'll steal your breath and your heart.

After a mission-gone-sideways forces Jamin "Angel" Agassi to change his identity, he's determined to bring down the world's worst crime syndicate kingpin once and for all. That's going to be the easy part. Keeping Interpol agent Sonya Butler from discovering who he really is―and blazing another trail into his heart―is the challenge.
