Romance Erotica Sensual

Architect Annie Ryan has never felt that "spark" with a guy that leaves you weak in the knees, and breathless. Until a night of celebration brings her face to face with Jack. The spark between them is more like a nuclear explosion. When the pair sneak off to a hotel room, the intensity of their one night together has Annie overwhelmed. Her coping mechanism is to tuck tail and run...leaving the hotel room before dawn. She is certain that a man that has that much of a powerful impact on her, has to be dangerous. The mysterious Jack is also the one thing that has consumed her thoughts since.

Annie never thought she would ever see Jack again...until he shows up at her house warming party as the contractor on her next big project...along with his wife. Annie is completely dumbstruck. Had she known that Jack Joseph belonged to another woman, that one night stand would have never happened. Now she has to figure out how to work with him when neither of them can keep their hands to themselves.

THE FORBIDDEN is a stand-alone and due to the content, must be read with an open mind. The title pretty much speaks volumes for what this book is about. This is not your typical romance, and not everyone will read it and agree with it. The story is told in Annie's point of view. Annie must deal with the issues of infidelity, deception, betrayal, prejudices, lies, guilt, forgiveness, and the pain of wanting something that may not ever belong to her. As Author Jodi Ellen Malpas states in the beginning of the book, I went into this story with an open mind and I absolutely enjoyed this book! THE FORBIDDEN will take you out of your comfort zone. It is filled with so much emotion. Sometimes life gives you the type of love that you are content with. One that is comfortable, and after awhile, you start to question why you entered into that relationship in the first place. Then life gives you a love that is unconditional, a fire burning from within, that consumes your life, where nothing and no one will diminish that love. This is that type of story.

SUMMARY

THE ONE NIGHT SHE CAN'T FORGET...
THE TEMPTATION SHE CAN'T ESCAPE...

A new story of dangerous temptations from the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the This Man trilogy.

Annie has never experienced the 'spark' with a guy-the kind of instant chemistry that steals your breath and blindsides you completely. Until a night out with friends brings her face to face with the wickedly sexy and mysterious Jack. It's not just a spark that ignites between them. It's an explosion. Jack promises to consume Annie, and he fully delivers on that promise.

Overwhelmed by the intensity of their one night together, Annie slips out of their hotel room. She is certain that a man who's had such a powerful impact on her and who could bend her to his will so easily, must be dangerous. But she's already in too deep. And Jack isn't only dangerous. He is forbidden.
