Romance Time Travel

WHAT THE MOON SAW is an interesting and intriguing read that will sweep you away into a world unlike any other. A captivating story of being transported back in history to a time long ago and having to come to and adjust to a society so immensely diverse from what you know. Imagine waking up and being in 1926, not 2016. The culture shock of giving up all the time saving and lifesaving comforts of the time frame before the travel. This is what happens to Libby and she finds herself not working for the FBI any longer but in a society where few women had jobs. A society where women have few protections and the wealthy are treated like gods. Libby is dependent on a man that she is not sure she can really trust.

D.L. Koontz has created a story that is sure to capture you and draw you into a world that is full of romance and terrifying shadows that should remain dark. WHAT THE MOON SAW is a romantic story with lots of twists and turns. A story where not knowing who you can trust can be life or death. Could you put your life in the hands of a stranger in hopes you will not come to your death?

Koontz has created well developed and diverse characters that are perfectly woven into time travel with lots of lovely romance and double cross shadows that will leave you wondering why. The ending will come as a surprise even with the little tidbits you get to see as the story progresses along. Can clues from hundreds of years ago help solve a case Libby is currently working on in 2016?

WHAT THE MOON SAW is a fast-paced read that does not disappoint and will stay with you long after reading. It's a story with an unexpected ending that will leave you surprised.

SUMMARY

When newlywed FBI agent and brilliant linguist Libby Shaw is warned that her death is imminent, she’ll do anything she can to survive–even take mysterious advice to submerge in mineral water of Bedford Springs during a full moon. Libby finds herself thrust back in time to 1926, where danger and intrigue surround her. As Libby tries to adapt to her new life, she finds herself oddly drawn to the town sheriff who seems to know her far better than she knows herself. Yet he seems eerily familiar and as pieces of a past start surfacing in dreams and visions, Libby seeks out the handsome sheriff for answers, only to find more questions. As Libby learns someone is following her to change history, she must join forces with the sheriff to uncover the mystery of their past. Will they be thwarted by the master criminal who's determined to destroy them both or will they be able to build a life together after lifetimes of being pulled apart by nefarious forces?
