Romance Paranormal

Bakery owner Becca Weitz logically assumes everyone she meets is fully human. This includes her nephew, Theo. She's raised him since he was young and loves him dearly. When he disappears, she panics.

Into her world comes sexy, larger-than-life Carl Carman. He owns Camp Max where Theo attends. He offers to help her. Little does she know Carl is a bear shifter and Theo is a member of his bear-shifting clan.

Carl swears to help Becca find her nephew and other young missing shifters who are about to experience their first transformations. Becca, however, is suspicious. What's this guy doing here? What connection does he have to Theo's disappearance?

As she becomes more and more difficult, Carl does the only thing he can: kidnap her. Somehow, he has to make her understand the life of a bear shifter. The only way he can do it is to bring her into the fold. He'd have a much easier time if Theo wasn't missing.

As the leader of his clan, Carl is surrounded by enemies. He's learned the hard way that keeping a firm leash on his inner beast is key to survival, though his feelings for Becca test his legendary control.

Kathy Lyons has created a shifter series that all lovers of paranormal romance will want to read. THE BEAR WHO LOVED ME is the first in her Grizzlies Gone Wild series. The other two books are LICENSE TO SHIFT and FOR THE BEAR'S EYES ONLY.

THE BEAR WHO LOVED ME is filled with action and adventure, with a generous amount of romance thrown in. What more could a reader want than hot sexy bear shifters and their thrilling adventures?

SUMMARY

WHEN AN ALPHA MEETS HIS MATCH . . .

Between single-handedly running her bakery and raising her teenaged nephew, Becca Weitz thought she had a decent grip on “normal.” Then her nephew vanishes, and life as she’s known it changes forever. Local legends are true: bear shifters exist . . . and her nephew is part of their clan. As is Carl Carman, the sexy, larger-than-life man who has sworn to find her nephew-and the other young shifters who’ve gone missing.

As the leader of his clan, Carl is surrounded by enemies. He’s learned the hard way that keeping a firm leash on his inner beast is key to survival, though his feelings for Becca test his legendary control. Then danger stalks too close, and Carl realizes he must unleash the raging, primal force within to protect everything he holds dear. But can Becca trust his grizzly side with her life-and her heart?
