Toni Blake indulges readers with a new installment in the
Destiny
series. I
thought the series was over, which makes this book an extra
sweet treat to
look forward to this holiday. Needless to say, I was very
excited when I
learned there was going to be another book in this world.
Blake plays up the sense of community in this book so well
that it really feels
like a book that is bigger than itself. There's a
heartwarming quality to it that
has it brimming with good vibes and warm spirits. I dare you
not to feel the
holiday spirit after reading this book.
But in addition to these wonderful side characters, Blake
has two amazingly
well developed characters in Shane Dalton and Candice
Sheridan. Shane
meant to pass through Destiny before he reached his job in
Miami. But when
he gets stuck in a blizzard, his only hope is sweet Candice
to give him
shelter. Naturally, Candice is wary of this man at first,
but she can also tell
that there is more to him than meets the eye.
The romance in this book is absolutely breathtaking. It'll
sweep you off your
feet and have you grinning from ear to ear. There's also a
secondary romance
blooming that I thought was a nice added touch to the book.
However, I have to say that my favorite part of the book is
actually the
ending. Blake caps off this series so well that it almost
makes me feel
content to have this series end. And yet, I could still read
a hundred more
books set in Destiny, Ohio. These books have everything I
want in a
Contemporary Romance so if you haven't read them yet, I
would highly
suggest trying them out. You won't find stories more sweet
and passionate
as these ones!

fast cars and faster women. But first, he’s heeding his

about Shane won’t let her stay away. By Christmas, he’ll be
gone. Until then, she’s itching to stop playing nice and

As their holiday romance heats up, Shane uncovers a
shattering secret and Candice is preparing to face heartache
once again. But there’s no better place than
Destiny—especially at Christmastime—for two lost souls to
