Romance Erotica Sensual | Romance Suspense | Romance Contemporary

Kael Bradford knows that his life is too dangerous to share with anyone else. Working as an assassin he has no problem hunting down the bad guys, but while tracking down a target in Jamaica, he never expected to find her, the one woman who makes him want forever.  Rain Howard has spent her whole life trying to do the right thing and be whatever her parents think she should be. But when she sets eyes on Kael, their unbelievable chemistry carries them away and they cannot stay away from each other.  But when Kael disappears without a trace, Rain is forced to reevaluate everything, and two years later is finally living her life, her way. Life is good...and then Kael shows up again, determined to win her back. But can Rain really trust him when he seems to be hiding so many sercrets? Would Rain stick around if she knew the truth?

TELL ME NO LIES by Magnolia Smith is the first book in The Black Orchid series and it definitely starts the series with a bang. With so many twists and turns, danger, suspense, and sizzling romance, this novel hooks the reader from the start and keeps you enthralled until the very end. Kael never wanted to leave Rain but worried about her safety and the fact that she may not want him if she knew the truth. Rain has  finally asserted her independence and is determined to be her own person, when Kael resurfaces - but can she trust someone who abandoned her so easily? TELL ME NO LIES by Magnolia Smith is an entertaining, exciting read and I look forward to the next instalment.

SUMMARY

Also available as a paperback on Amazon and Samhain.

That was then…

While hunting down his target in Jamaica, Kael Bradford fell hard for a beautiful, unsuspecting tourist. He thought the only thing he needed to protect her from was him. Until the line between personal and professional blurred in a cloud of deadly danger.

This is now…

Rain Howard thought she’d met the perfect guy. But after two romantic weeks in Jamaica, he disappeared. Two years of trying to forget him, and she’s finally found the courage to quit her job and open a beignets and coffee café. Then he appears out of the blue, wanting to pick up where they left off.

And there is only one truth…

Kael never wanted to leave her, but it wasn’t safe for him to stay. He had to put space between them before the bad guys figured out there was someone he loved. Besides, if she discovered all his secrets…she wouldn’t want to be with him anyway.

Now, the coast is clear. And he’s returned, finally, to reclaim what’s his.

Warning: Could inspire erotic new beignet-eating techniques that’ll get you thrown out of the Café du Monde. Also includes: spanking, dirty secrets, dirtier desires, political assassinations, and jealous best friends.
